“Lidl offers a great shopping experience with affordable prices and a wide selection of products. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what you need, from fresh produce and bakery items to household essentials. The quality of Lidl's own-brand products is impressive, and the weekly special deals are a bonus. While the store can get busy during peak hours, checkout is generally efficient. Overall, it's a convenient and budget-friendly option for grocery shopping.”

“Our favourite Aldi.
We do like the recent re-fit.
A shame they didn't re-tarmac the car park.
It's very bumpy for the old Ferrari?
The staff are very friendly.
Especially the cheeky chappie James.”

“It's a great store with greats value and bargains, like all Aldis.
Only reason for 4 stars is the usual lack of space after paying and long waiting at tills, again like all Aldis”

“Aldi Daybrook - always happy to shop here as staff very helpful etc but a little irk this morning, Staff obviously need head phones but seems just lately cashiers are constantly having private conversations whilst serving, not a massive issue but today I never even got a good morning, how are you or even a goodbye ?”

“Good to stop here on the way home from Leicester as the petrol stations are few and far between and thought I was going to run out of petrol. A bonus is the waitrose onsite”

“Decent shop. Free parking outside. Good prices not much more than the supermarket. Cold beer. Lotto , use a lot for parcel collection and drop off. Free service with evri or in post. Good for deliveries when you know your not going to be in and can then collect after work”

“Nice clean, new store - shame it doesn't have the same range as the Castle Marina store - otherwise it would be 5*Car charging (22kw) has been ripped up and ultra rapid Kempower units are being fitted right in the middle of the car park.... I understand why they are doing so and they are great, but not at a place that you will visit for an hour or two - the charging only takes 10-30mins so you're going to have to run out half way through your shop to disconnect and move your car! The chargers that were here were perfect - just not enough of them!!!!!Update... The Kempower units have now been vandalised - the cables have been cut on BOTH units - now there are NO chargers - what a mess!! ?Updated update - repaired and working again!!”

“Decent Lidl store. The aisles are a bit narrow so at busier times it can be a challenge to move about easily. Generally good levels of stock, bakery items are excellent quality. Has toilet, available on request. Tends to have some good store offers in the Lidl Plus app, was able to make use of a £5 off coupon whilst shopping there today. Parking is usually good with plenty of spaces but be aware it is limited to 2 hours.”

“it's a good shop to get most foods but there is only ever 1 till open of all the tills they have got I think they should have all of the tills open and employ more staff so you are always having to que up at the 1 till sometimes a very long que.”

“This **Sainsbury’s** branch offers a **good variety of groceries**, fresh produce, and household essentials. The shelves are **well-organized**, and the store is generally **clean and well-lit**. I especially appreciate their **Taste the Difference** range for quality ingredients.”

“I do like this M&S branch. Traditional city centre store on four floors. It's been in this building more or less forever - certainly remember going with my mum in the 70s. Being spread over four floors can make it a bit of a chore getting around but at least it makes exploring the shop more interesting then some bland out of town warehouse (looking at you M&S Fosse Park). Has a good sized cafe area on the first floor and large food hall in the basement. Hope this doesn't end up being another city centre store M&S decides to dump.”

“There was a sharp piece of metal exposed on the surface near the baskets. I grabbed a basket and the metal ripped my coat. Advised store manager it was unsafe and to remove baskets away from the work surface. He has referred me to customer services.”
