2 January 2024. A nearby restaurant cancelled our booking at the last minute, so at 6pm 11 of us turned up to see if we could have dinner. The staff were immediately receptive and worked fast to get us seated (even though they were already really busy!). We were made to feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble.... read full comment

Lovely pub near Keswick, had a great selection of drinks and friendly spaces for dogs. While we opted not to bring our dog in, it was nice for the staff to let us know that there was space available in the dog friendly area should we wish to move and bring the dog in.

We spent Christmas Day here and had an excellent lunch....the service and atmosphere was just lovely
