“Fabulous room overlooking the lovely open countryside. The room was spacious, extremely clean, all modern fittings whilst retaining a great rustic vibe, lovely bed, tea making facilities, wall mounted flat screen tv. Great host who was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was great, cereals, juices, and a full English cooked to order. Thanks for a great stay.”

Really good product knowledge /advice and a really decent selection to choose from too! They even got my floor delivered and laid ahead of the estimated time frame - I couldn't have asked for more. “Had a long weekend here with my wife and 3 dogs. Could not fault the place. Wonderful staff. Dave behind the bar is somewhat a character.Very nice rooms with modern bath room. Tea and coffee making facilities available in room, great breakfast with continental and hot food options. Great filter coffee!We eat here a couple of times at night and were not disappointed.Great location to venture around the lakes. Well worth a visit. Back here again in December.”

“Room was nice enough, clean if a little dated (the shower head looked manky and needs changing), nice big comfy bed and pillows, for the price point a wee fridge would have been handy.The staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was lovely and great choice.Great location for exploring the town.”

“Went for a family meal and it was absolutely stunning-the food,location and the staff were fabulous. We had delicious alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. The menu is seasonal and there's plenty of choice across all courses. We will certainly be back and recommending The punch bowl to everyone.”

“Went to this hotel for a hiking weekend and it was a great location for us. “Short weekend stay at the Kendal travel lodge and big rooms for me and the wife to move around and have a lovely sexy weekend away, , all room were clean and tidy and very easy to check in and out, , will definitely be staying again”

“Enjoyed our stay at the premier inn. We had been camping nearby and we’re desperate for a bath, arrived and asked for the availability of an early check in for £10, our room was ready and it was lovely. Good central location, just off the high street and near the bus station. Nice comfy beds. Room was a bit warm but didn’t want air con on. Wasn’t told breakfast times so just had to Google them. Only fault was the Wi-Fi, it kept cutting out, we had to see if reception could reboot. Still a bit hit and miss after that but other than that, a great stay and will come back. Avoid the restaurant next door for meals, plenty other restaurants and cafes nearby which are much nicer.”
