“Nice hotel but noisy if allocated rooms are at the front. Constant sound of sirens, both police and ambulance throughout the night. However it is close to the city centre, about a five minute drive. Helpful staff and a small but good menu. All food was cooked as requested.”

“We stayed here, in the carpark in our motorhome after watching York play and win Truro.
We had food in the restaurant which was lovely, typical great pub grub, the place was bouncing, had a band on and was busy, fantastic atmosphere for a Saturday night, we had a brilliant time and will definitely return.”

“We visited whilst on holiday and cannot fault the place. Great pub with a very friendly atmosphere. The Sunday lunch was so delicious the desserts were yummy. The service was spot on and they accommodated our large group without any issues. A fabulous family friendly place.”

“From choosing and ordering, the process was quick and easy. The goods turned up exactly on time and as ordered and were delivered up quite awkward stairs to the correct room. All round excellent job at a reasonable price.”

“What a lovely and family friendly pub! We went for a Sunday dinner from the local camp site and it was one of the best experiences we've had as a family. We do go to different pubs with our 4 kids and Norway Inn has come as Nr 1 on our list. The food was very delicious, no corners cut and served all on time. The waitresses and waiters were super friendly, funny and just a pleasure to interact with. They clearly enjoy working there. There were some board and card games which was such a nice touch as entertaining 4 young kids can be a challenge at times?
Overall 10 out 10, we wish we lived close by as this would be our favourite pub to go to if we did. Thank you to the chefs and waitressing staff, you've made our last day in Cornwall truly memorable.”

“Walkability: Walking to Towan beach is possible, but not practical with small children. The route involves a single track road. However, National Trust parking is available by the beach.”

“Friendly helpful staff + knowledgeable. Clean and tidy. So much stuff in there! Whilst they didn't have everything I wanted helpful suggestions were made as to where I might get the items. They had about 80% of what I was looking for, the other items were quite niche.”

“We went for a meal here. The staff were very friendly and the food was ok. Not a lot of fish in the fish pie apparently but it was tasty. Pudding was small but tasty. Very clean and tidy.”

“Our daughter and son - in - law had their wedding here last Saturday .Chycara is a very special venue with a beautiful building and lovely grounds. Rob and the team were brilliant- nothing was too much trouble for them.There is a large ,well equipped kitchen for self catering or to bring caterers in. They provide all the tables, chairs and tablecloths and can provide background music for the reception and a microphone for the speeches .For those who need accommodation, there are several beautifullodges you can hire for friends and relatives.Sarah the wedding planner, was also a brilliant help. We couldn't fault it at all ! Fantastic venue !”
