“What a lovely gem we have found. Lovely accommodation in the chalets out to the rear of the pub. Great food and very peaceful place to just unwind by the river. Definitely be making this a regular place to stay with our little dog. Excellent.”

“Yes five stars for a travel lodge. Why? Because it was clean, cheap and had large rooms. Yes it’s a little dated but it’s also about 70 quid for a night whilst other places are over 150. An absolute bargain stay over.”

“Thank you so much to Jelena!
Had a great experience staying here and she’s made it even better, so patient and so lovely. Always up for a chat but most of all answered all our concerns and questions with a big smile. We’ve never been in eye or let alone to Peterborough and she recommended so many places and sights to see, great recommendations with great food.
If we were to travel to Peterborough again we’re definitely coming back to this hotel because she made the experience. Once again thank you Jelena. :)”

“Great for overnight stay for a friends wedding celebration. Very close to town centre. No on-site parking but plenty of parking options nearby. Rooms clean and tidy. Caroline was very friendly and helpful with information to make our stay enjoyable. Many thanks.”

“The positives... I liked the 1930s wood panelling and art deco door frames. I loved the little cubby holes for the kettle and cups and the ironing board. Bed was comfy. I didn't use the TV (so can't comment). There was also a hairdryer and a small safe box. The staff were lovely. Whatever the stresses of their day, whenever I asked a question or needed help, they smiled at me and helped. Very clean. The breakfast was great. I didn't have dinner there, so can't comment. There was a fan in the room. It was perfectly located for the railway station; the bus station and queensgate shopping centre. Most places were within a 15 minute walk...eg the River Bank, the Cathedral. It was very good value for money. I'd stay there again. The negatives... WiFi signal in my room wasn't great (weak signal); I can sleep through a hurricane, but if you can't it's not a quiet location...trains, and road noise. The views are car park, shopping centre, waitrose. Even so, I really enjoyed staying there.”
