“This is a convenient place to drop off your dry cleaning. They are an agent for Penguin dry cleaning on Mill Street.They pick up from here around 9am on Wednesdays and Fridays. You can then collect on Friday or the following Wednesday.I've attached their price list as at Feb 2023.”

School children get their lunches here, and their sweeties & fizzy drinks, mums get the fresh veggies & fruit & meat, bakery, toiletries, dad's can get their cans! Plus a free cash machine. It's our village general shop, we'd be list without it!”

“Brilliant service from the gentleman who helped me to determine the best option for sending my small parcel and assisted me on the off license till as well. He was surprisingly patient, kind and efficient - I don't want to sound prejudicial nor stereotypical, however, this phenomenon is not very common amongst the small Post offices combined with off licenses. I can recommend both the products and the service here.”

“very convenient to buy food before going on the train it’s not cheap like other places but it has great food m&s never disappoint me, the self checkouts make it easy to quickly go in and out so that even if you don’t have a lot of time before your train leave you can probably make it and buy something in less than 2 minutes. there are always only around 3 people in the store when I go there so it’s never crowded and easy to go around the store and the ready meals are right at the front of the store”

Honestly just an incredible service and a pillar of the community and local area. All stores should aim to be as excellent as Pink Elephant. “Decent selection of almost everything, even if it's a bit more expensive than it should be, it's worth it for the convenience. Some good offers on multi buys such as pizzas and drinks. The self checkouts are good to see in a smaller shop and often saves time. Usually only a couple of staff members working and they are always full of sarcasm which makes up for not having anyone behind the counter. Also hasn't been ram raided in a while which is nice”

“I’m not very good at going out of my way to write reviews, but in this day and age when it’s so difficult to find good customer service and convenient service I will go out of my way to say thank you to the always friendly always helpful man who runs this shop and for the service he provides his customers.A convenance store that lives up to its name. He operates a post office that has very friendly hours for those that work 8-5pm (he’s open 6am-late) and it doesn’t involve cuing for hours on end. I also really appreciate how well kept the store looks and really like the shiny floor. Thank you!”

“Definitely not the best Coop in town, but what do you expect from a small store at the junction? It has 24/7 ATM, basic needs, parking space even if it’s limited. It serves its purpose well, fair and square”

“It's a nice enough grocery - judged on the standard of a local grocery store rather than a superstore. I'm not too impressed but there's just not that much that can be crammed into this small of a location. The aisles are narrow, there aren't that many tills, and the selection is okay - but the location is convenient to my flat and the prices are good.”

“Staff is decent, hard not to be though, I could argue that it's ever so slightly understaffed typically, one employee more per shift would work well, currently wait times are on the cusp of being slightly annoying.

stock is decent, better than the last store but could do with some improvement, sometimes certain products aren't in stock, and it's semi frequent; just in time stocking isn't good for this small scale, keep slightly more stock of products that don't expire quickly, then when near expiration have clearance, I doubt you'd lose out on any profit.

Store is clean, shelves are better managed than Tesco, I barely see products in the wrong area of a shelf, unlike Tesco which occasionally has products like crisps overlapping making it hard to tell the price at a glance.

Is who-ever is in charge of stocking going to read this? No, but I like complaining about minor stuff that I only slightly care about.”

“A wide range of products and produce in a small store. Air conditioned and with many self serve checkouts, it offers a quick and convenient place to have a quick grocery shop. Includes stationary, alcohol, fresh vegetable and fruit. Also an ATM on the outside of the building on the East side.”

“Great selection of goods. Friendly staff and a Costa machine! Prices aren't bad and they always have a fully stocked reduced section with great deals on bakery items for that day.”
