The lady efficiently processed the cheque, but then squinted at her screen and proceeded to gently scold us for having too much money in our current account - in a very nice way. She told us about ISAs and all that stuff. Old-fashioned customer service. Well done. I do hope this branch survives the trend for shutting places like this”
