“Got on the bus and walked to Metro Bank. Inside the bank, it was very snazzy and posh. I asked a question about them supporting people with ASD and Charles (the man that works there) said that people with ASD need a bank account (i think). It's new, so there's less workers and people going to it.”

“I wear hearing aids & have severe hearing loss, today 10th April '25 I went into Weston Favell branch to discuss my house insurance. As the branch had no-one specific to have a 1-2-1 session with my query had to be dealt with at the counter. We could have used a room, if free, to call the dept ourselves on loudspeaker but I lack confidence. We were served by Kayleigh, she was fabulous, she called the dept on our behalf, went through everything with them, reiterating with Lee & I ensuring we understood. She showed compassion, kindness, a high level of dedication with enthusiasm. Kayleigh exceeded all expectations. Please pass on our thanks for her commitment to help us. She is value to NABS. Thankyou

“I’ve been a member of Nationwide for over 15 years and not once have they disappointed me. I usually use the Northampton Kingsthorpe or Moulton park branch. Huge shout out to Angie at Kingsthorpe branch, as soon as I walked in she was eager to help, have a great conversation and really cares about the members. Didn’t keep me waiting sorted out my query within 10 minutes! Angie is a gem. Thank you to everyone for all your help over the years. Will hopefully have a mortgage with you too at some point.”

“Had a great experience today at Nationwide, the staff made me feel very safe and the man on the door was really helpful when I wanted to deposit a cheque, as I hadn’t done this at Nationwide before. I didn’t get his name but wanted to give him some recognition because he did his job so well. He was on the door at about 10.50 today (10/09)”

I end at 3:10 and i dont get home till 4-4:30 normally even though I live close. So my only problem is the closing time and weekday only stuff”

“My partner banks with Halifax and asked to me to write this review.On 12.3.2020, my partner went into the bank on the market in Northampton, and because the systems were down the staff members were so polite and even made him a cup of coffee while he waited for the systems to be reboot and it took over half an hour to get sorted out and the staff must of apologized half a dozen times they couldn't of been anymore apologetic. My partner said that this branch of Halifax needs to be recognised.”

“My experience with this place was very good. I had to exchange a damaged £20 paper note. Was a queue, but the staff was moving fast, so i didn't have to wait to much. I got another £20 , plastic one.”

“Having recently moved to the area I had to pop in to the branch to deal with my change in address & the two ladies that I dealt with (one lady was called Kirti but I’m sorry, I didn’t catch the other ladies name) could not have been more helpful. They were polite, professional and were so helpful.

I wish these members of staff could be mirrored in offer banks.”

“Excellent customer care, went to speak to a lovely lady at 4.28, dealt with ordering me a new card even though I said I could come back.. She insisted no she would help me.. Even after closing time she dealt with my problem.. EXCELLENT staff in this branch in northampton! Not like any of the other branches... Total customer care!! These ladies should work in ALL of your branches!!! Other staff in branches can learn ALOT from these ladies! 1 VERY happy customer ?”

“I went to NatWest to pay in a cheque only to find it had closed at 1pm. I had banked with Barclays for 30 years until I stupidly switched last year, seduced by the perks that NatWest then withdrew 8 months after I switched. I have regretted leaving ever since, not just because of the perks .... Anyway 3 Months ago I opened another current account with Barclays.Barclays had longer opening hours than NatWest. I'm leaving this review as the man who was in charge of the queue at 1330 on 14th May 2020. ( should of taken his name but he was a black guy) well he was fantastic and gave great service. Meant I could do what I needed with no fuss or drama. It's great to be back with Barclays.”
