“Hi, my name is Sue and I spoke to one of your colleagues today on the phone at Kettering branch named Gareth.
My brother has been unwell for some time and
he could not manage his banking on his phone as he used to.
I tried to sort out the telephone banking for him but i'm not very good with the apps.
Gareth talked me through the procedure several times. Eventually I managed to install the app for my brother and the online banking stuff. Every time I did it wrong, and there were several, Gareth patiently talked me through the procedure again.

“I tried a few times to try and set up a standing order (SO) using the new Santander app even though the instructions are very easy to follow. However, it warned at the end that it may not have been successful so I had to go into the branch to ask them to set it up. Kind of defeats the object of online banking but to be honest I prefer going to a bank if I need to. The cashier was welcoming and very helpful. Although they were unsure why the app did not work they were able to set up the SO for me immediately. Couldn't ask for smoother customer service carried out with a smile. Thank you.”

“Have only been in twice, first time for adding my partner to a joint account. Second to pay some bills on behalf of someone’s estate.Both visits staff were very helpful. My two recent visits have been the most positive experiences I have had in terms of visiting a high street bank over that last 16 years.Staff genuinely want to help you as opposed to getting you out the door. I am fairly new to Halifax having only had an account with them for approximately three months, truth be told I only switched for the money they was offering in switching, but I am glad I done this now having realised how much better service you get from the staff at Kettering.The branch is a little dated but interior really is irrelevant when reviewing customer experience. If you still enjoy visiting branch to use banking services, Halifax in kettering is the place to go if you live locally to kettering and are fed up with rude, uninterested staff at other height street banks.”
