“Just returned from staying at the Langford Inn and what a nice stay it was. Set in a lovely quiet location with nice boutique style rooms. But the credit really has to go to the young lady's running the bar and restaurant, definitely a warm welcome and the complimentary drink upon arrival was a nice touch. Would highly recommend and I'd like to stay again.”

“The Compton is a true country pub with great food and atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The pub is dog friendly and dog ice creams are available for a treat, especially on a hot day. The food is freshly cooked to order. Specials include a fab 'oggy' which is always served quickly with quality fresh vegetables. The main menu items take a little longer to prepare, but not long. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. My dog and I have eaten at the Compton many, many times and love it. There are great walks around the village, often starting and finishing at the pub. The pub is part of the village community and helps to make Compton Dando a wonderful place to visit.”

“Poor signage so be very alert to SatNav instructions! Large car park currently divided in two to stop traffic taking a shortcut through the hotel to bypass some major roadworks at the adjacent crossroads. Some parts of car park flood in downpour. Lovely staff with greeting. Dated 60’s (?) utilitarian box hotel and long corridors. Big room. No air conditioning or fridge but fantastic balcony on first floor looking over cricket pitch. Try to enjoy being woken up to the sound of cricket bat on willow from net practise . . . (We had the door and windows open). We had an ace breakfast 1/2 a mile away. I think it was called the Square or was in the Square, Alveston. The pub in the grounds of the hotel looked great for food and the publican was very friendly - let me take the menu off to show the wife . . . only to find that she’d brought a picnic meal!”

“I always choose this Premier Inn when working in Bristol. It’s in a fantastic location—close to the Marina and some lovely walking routes.
The rooms are currently being refurbished to a high standard and now include USB-C plug sockets, which is a great addition.
Every time I’ve stayed here, the staff and manager have been helpful and very accommodating.
The pub next door has never disappointed—meals are consistently good, and the staff are always warm and welcoming.”

“The staff were very helpful in this store. Customer service assistant called Abbie was extremely helpful in choosing a sofa for our new place. Showed us all the available fabrics, sizes, styles etc. Ended up purchasing online, but it was great to see it in the store first and I was grateful for her time.”

“the star inn kindly allowed us to launch our food truck at their pub and it was a great success, the venue with its lovely large beer garden and the kind and accommodating staff really made the event. I highly recommend the star inn if you are celebrating any special occasion or wish just to enjoy some beers in the sun. we will be back with our food truck and as customers to enjoy this great local pub. thanks to the star inn team and all the locals who came down to try our spice bags! it was a day we will remember.”

“A great pub with several indoor spaces, patio tables at the front and a bear garden behind. We were there for a birthday celebration and the hosts had reserved a back room. It was perfect for the occasion and handled the food and drink needs with ease.”

“A large family room with big TV and good work area with good lighting. The large bathroom had a large shower which was spot on with temperature and pressure although the door leaked a tad on to the mat (but that's part of the purpose of the mat!). The Velux window gave light but no view and as it rained it was noisier than a normal window.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Outside the hotel front door is a dog wash area (or for kids if they're that dirty ;) )
I didn't try the Black Sheep next door so cannot comment.
I checked in late, after 22:00 I think, so had to go to Aztec to get keys. I asked the price for a take out bottle of house bottle of wine at Aztec and it was £22.50 and didn't bother so had a bottle of coke for £2.90!
It's a very convenient place for me to stay and will def stay here again.

2nd visit. Check in states on the confirmation email it is in Black Sheep pub from 3pm, but it's actually at the Aztec Hotel opposite. The car park there is £12 so walk over!
Car parking at Lodge is £5 overnight and I thought it was free if you stay.
The room I stayed in is lovely double with comfy chair and a nice shower.”

“Great place to spend your night if you find yourself in Bristol. The staff are helpful and the rooms are value for money you pay. The breakfast is also good. I would recommend to pay the extra £10 to get this in the package. All in all was happy with my stay.”

“Cheap clean and good price, it’s a Travelodge not a boutique stay so boring box. Signs to enter are good given the mini maze involved from motorway. Otherwise easy access to Wales/ Forest of Dean and Bristol/Bath M4/5 etc.”

“Got in at 4am after a gig up in Heaton park Manchester , evening staff apparently were meant to call about the room being unavailable but didn’t. luckily we had the legend Jai who I assume was the evening manager to sort us out. Staff there (at least at the AMs) and are the reason why this hotel is a 5 star”
