“Great staff. I mentioned I was here visiting my new grandson and they delivered a small teddy bear to my room.Noteworthy details: Historic building next door to a historic church.”
“Great stay. Huge room and bathroom. Great location but parking is limited. Parked at mecure Hotel 5min walk away.Walkability: Very central and everything is in walking distance”
“My room was larger than expected. Huge, comfortable bed, and super clean. Although the hotel was in the city centre, I was not disturbed by traffic or people, and I got a great nights sleep. The staff were kind, and the location was incredible- right in the city centre, and only 5 minutes walk from the train station. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Bristol.”
“Used this hotel the night before flying from Bristol airport. Staff were friendly and pleasant and check in was quick. Room was clean and comfortable. My wife and I gad an evening meal was was very good value for money. Again the staff were excellent. Only thing I could say I wasn't ha8about was I had booked parking for the car for a week and it was wasn't clear on booking that the shuttle service to the airport came with an additional cost. That aside the service was great and they met us at the airport on arrival when we landed back home.”
“Poor signage so be very alert to SatNav instructions! Large car park currently divided in two to stop traffic taking a shortcut through the hotel to bypass some major roadworks at the adjacent crossroads. Some parts of car park flood in downpour. Lovely staff with greeting. Dated 60’s (?) utilitarian box hotel and long corridors. Big room. No air conditioning or fridge but fantastic balcony on first floor looking over cricket pitch. Try to enjoy being woken up to the sound of cricket bat on willow from net practise . . . (We had the door and windows open). We had an ace breakfast 1/2 a mile away. I think it was called the Square or was in the Square, Alveston. The pub in the grounds of the hotel looked great for food and the publican was very friendly - let me take the menu off to show the wife . . . only to find that she’d brought a picnic meal!”
“Very friendly and welcoming environment, the food was amazing, good selection of drinks and food to cater for all tastes and palates. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.”

“I always choose this Premier Inn when working in Bristol. It’s in a fantastic location—close to the Marina and some lovely walking routes.
The rooms are currently being refurbished to a high standard and now include USB-C plug sockets, which is a great addition.
Every time I’ve stayed here, the staff and manager have been helpful and very accommodating.
The pub next door has never disappointed—meals are consistently good, and the staff are always warm and welcoming.”
“Tidy and clean rooms, slight noise from other people could come through the walls but overall pretty quiet. The shower is a bit dated but overall the room was comfortable.Great location close to the Hippodrome and shopping, as well as a short walk from Park street. Staff were friendly and helpful, I would stay here again.”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Artist Residence Bristol. We loved the eclectic decor and the relaxed vibe throughout. Our twin room was spotlessly clean, with some really gorgeous attentions to detail. Friendly staff who made us feel very welcome and a definite change to the usual soul-less hotel experience.Lovely meal and drinks in the hotel bar and restaurant. Not an obvious location, but close to Gloucester Road for some cool shopping and a stones throw in an Uber to the Clifton area. Highly recommend, we will be back and keen to check out their other locations.Rooms: Beautifully decorated, comfy beds and great attention to detail.”
“Ibis know exactly what most people need for a quick city stay: somewhere basic and comfortable with a good breakfast and decent wifi. This hotel delivers on that and provides exactly what is necessary. Overall, we had a very good stay, but it was slightly let down by some sloppy room cleaning. The bathroom sink was dirty on arrival and a chocolate bar wrapper was lying under the table. Not massive issues, obviously, but they didn't create a good first impression.”
“Stayed 2 nights and was a pleasant experience, hotel is clean, comfortable and warm, all reception staff were friendly and helpful I would recommend Emerson green premier inn to anyone.”
“Very beautiful place to stay, just in the heart of the city.Special thanks to Mariia who made my stay special. She went above and beyond my expectations, top notch customer service. Will definitely come to stay again.”
“Always had a lovely stay when staying here and have stayed here many times recently.Would recommend and happy to return.Staff friendly and professional and who can say no to a free cookie when you arrive :-)”
“Had a three day stay whilst visiting friends in the area. Great location for visiting the city and close to the station to catch a train to Bath. The hotel was quiet and there was plenty of space in the car park. We only had breakfast in the hotel. The food was varied, well cooked and plentiful. The room was large, quiet and comfortable.”
“Very nice meal. I had chicken forestiere. Perfect sized portion for me. Those with large appetites would want additional sides. The staff are really well trained and know the food and drinks menus inside out. Service is included in bill.”
“Just back from a stay here was very busy but a well run hotel. The staff were helpful and all friendly. The rooms were spotless and of a good standard. Nothing to mush trouble for any of the staff. Definitely use again”
“Great place to spend your night if you find yourself in Bristol. The staff are helpful and the rooms are value for money you pay. The breakfast is also good. I would recommend to pay the extra £10 to get this in the package. All in all was happy with my stay.”
“Cheap clean and good price, it’s a Travelodge not a boutique stay so boring box. Signs to enter are good given the mini maze involved from motorway. Otherwise easy access to Wales/ Forest of Dean and Bristol/Bath M4/5 etc.”
“The room was lovely but there is room.for improvement the rooms need to modernize to USB power points as only things like hair dryers and laptops will use mains plugs which left me unable to charge my mobile phone Another disappointment was there wasn't enough tea coffee and milk and sugar although it was made available at reception to help yourself to there is still no way people only drink 2 cups of tea or coffee. The staff did seem very friendly and gave a warm welcome though and the beds were very comfortable and I did notice there was spare bedding available but again another let down was not enough towels and no towel for laying on the floor as a bath mat. The towel rail on the wall was loose as well but the quality of shower and bath temperature was perfect to adjustRooms: Comfortable beds great water temperature in shower and bath but one let down. Is not enough towels not enough tea coffee milk sugar and no USB charging ports not modernized enough which left me unable to charge my mobile phone. The towel rack was loose and there wasn't enough towels and no bath mat for keeping the floor dryNearby activities: Not far from my friends 50th birthday partyWalkability: Easy walking distance to local trade parksFood & drinks: Plenty of food outlets nearby”
“The rooms were clean and had everything I needed. Obviously it's a great location. The service was very professional but I took off a star due to a bit of trouble they had managing an event at the same time I was here, which they did alright but not seamlessly. Removing another because I tried the in hotel restaurant and that food is basic at best and overpriced so go somewhere else to eat if you can.”
“Got in at 4am after a gig up in Heaton park Manchester , evening staff apparently were meant to call about the room being unavailable but didn’t. luckily we had the legend Jai who I assume was the evening manager to sort us out. Staff there (at least at the AMs) and are the reason why this hotel is a 5 star”
“Nice room and friendly staff. Convenient to access the city and easy to get to from the motorway. Parking is first come first served (not just open to hotel guests so is busy over the weekend) and is very tight. Also much more expensive than the £16 for 24 hours quoted on the website - the parking cost £22!”
