“We had breakfast as guests of people who were staying so didn’t get to see the bedrooms but everything we saw was beautiful. Lots of comfortable seating areas, wonderful gardens to walk amongst and a delicious breakfast to enjoy. All in all a very civilised experience!”
“Absolutely loved my stay here - the room was so cosy and warm and it was a nice touch to have Netflix, complimentary Prosecco, and a quite large bathroom with a heated towel rack. Breakfast was a delight - recommend the avocado toast with bacon, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It’s perfectly located in the middle of Bath’s town centre with excellent shops and restaurants nearby. I’ll be back on my next trip to Bath!Walkability: About 7 mins walk from the train station; shops and restaurants are less than a minute away”

“I booked the Royal Crescent Signature Treatment and it was *glorious*. Coming from NY and being in law school I’ve had my fair share of massages but this was by far the best one I’ve ever had! Every crick got squished out without my body hurting afterward. It was the most relaxed I’d felt in ages. The facial afterward made my skin feel so soft and smooth without irritation, which is a blessing since my skin is so sensitive. If you come, please ask for Sarah! Honestly this woman deserves a raise and a half for transforming my rickety body the way she did. So nice and so pleasant to talk to about all your body problems. I was in heaven ?Food & drinks: I had the afternoon tea as part of the spa package. Sandwiches were so good! The scones were so good I actually enjoyed currants! The wait staff was lovely too. If I come back to the UK I’m definitely coming back.”
“On the corner of two roads so a narrow place. Small bar area with stairs going down to another seating area and toilets. Some decent ales but very expensive. Staff were friendly and polite. Good visit.”
“I really liked the place, the quality of the food was very good, for the regular service, between dishes we waited a long time and we were not very hungry, I brought two girls and they hardly ate for waiting so long....a shame the truth!!!”

“Second stay here. Again visiting for a coarse at the Bertinet Kitchen. Nice clean room. Helpful staff so for the price really can't complain. Be back again for my next ”
“Superb service especially from Warwick, the general manager. He helped us with everything from good local restaurants (for which he drew up a beautiful handwritten list) to water in the room. Charming and friendly, he made a big hotel feel like a small boutique one.Gorgeous restaurant and delicious breakfast. The hotel is in a really good location, close to everything but still pretty quiet. Fresh rooms with lovely bedding and all you need.We loved it. Thanks x”
“Very good indeed. We had a ‘super room’. I’d read some reviews about rooms being jaded but it seems a relatively modern hotel and our room was lovely, on a par with a Premier Inn but much better value. Couldn’t fault the accommodation. I’d also read about using a public car park which was a concern, but it’s right outside the Travelodge.
The amazing thing about this place though is its location, a pleasant 5 minute walk from the city centre and the train station. There are no big roads to cross, it’s a canal side walk to a footbridge which takes you right into the centre making this a great location for a mini-break. We’ll definitely be back and next time we’ll take the train to take full advantage of the location.”
“We had a large room (118). It was clean and quiet. Aircon worked fine. Perfect location to explore Bath, everything was within walking distance. Parking could be difficult to find as it seems always busy but we got lucky and found a space within 2 minutes. 5 minutes easy walk to the hotel from the car park. We didn’t have breakfast there - why would you if you could go to one of the many cafes around? Would return.”
“What an absolute gem of a hotel, I’d say of all the hotels I’ve stayed in recently this is only just pipped to the top spot by hotel indigo in Bath which is a lot more expensive. The hotel was very nice, very clean, my room was fantastic - although I only used it for 6 hours. The staff were really nice, friendly and helpful, the only downside was the horrendous parking costs, but that’s not the hotels fault.”
“I like Travelodge and they usually offer a decent value place to stay in which is warm, dry, clean and safe. This Travelodge was no different and I'd stay again but our room had an issue by being too close to the boiler cupboard and the pipework gave off a noise right around the clock; it sounded like an aeroplane taking off.Our room wasn't cleaned during our three night stay either.Anyway, we didn't have any other issues and the place is easy to find and close enough to everything such as tourist attractions, restaurants and pubs.”
“Just out of Town, so quiet and peaceful. Not going to be too busy, but ideal if you want peace and quiet.
Rooms: Beautiful, equipped and stylish.
Nearby activities: Bath was a 10 minute taxi ride where you can spend days looking at architecture and beauty.
Food and drinks: Great food and drinks if a little on the steep side. Loved all the food, service and surroundings.”
