For me, this has to be one of the best venues around. It is small enough that there are never mass crowds to the point where it is unpleasant. The bar is well staffed with decent prices on the beer. Well positioned in Reading next to the Train / Buses and opposite Siren Craft Brewery tap room this is a compact but not unpleasant multimodal venue. Went there for a metal gig and did enjoy it bonus point for the sound which wasn't terrible.
