“Sub89 is a lively venue that’s great for gigs and club nights, with an atmosphere that always feels energetic and fun. The sound system is strong and the space is big enough to hold a crowd while still feeling intimate. Drinks are reasonably priced for a music venue and the staff keep things running smoothly at the bar and doors. It can get packed on busy nights but that adds to the vibe, making it a good spot if you’re after live music or a night out in Reading.”
