“Overall a good shop with a great selection of fishing gear and good gunroom.

Took my Weihrauch HW110 air rifle in there a few weeks ago to try and sell to them with a Delta Titanium scope. The young lad offered me £200 for the lot and said that the air rifle had clearly been well used. (It hadn't, I'd put about 150 pellets through it since I'd bought it brand new for £850 12 months ago and it had been kept it my lounge ever since, not a scratch on it). I said to him the scope alone is worth £800 brand new, so the offer of £200 for the whole lot was a bit of a joke. He said that he had never heard of Delta scopes and wasn't going to look them up. A combined price of £1000 would have been a fair price.

Took it to another local gunshop a couple of days later and they gave me what I was looking for so no harm done, was just very surprised at the low ball offer from Allcock's. Won't stop me from shopping there in the future as it's fantastic to have these sort of shops still going.”
