“Right so, all i wanted was food for a fry up. Pretty simple request if i do say so myself. Obviously i do not have the financial stability to fund this myself so me and my two friends bought some each, BOTH my friends got served their food via night pay (bacon, and eggs) then my turn last, buy alas they couldn’t serve me as the till had to be shut off before midnight. this was inconvenient but i could understand the situation. HOWEVER minutes later a man got petrol and payed for that with the till that had to be “reset” clearly it worked fine for him and his purchase. i felt scammed. was it just because he was a man? Who knows! I know you are wondering how does this make the review 5 stars, well… as i was waiting for the till freddie the excellent member of staff kept updating me and even got my product (hash brows and sausages) ready so as SOON as the till was ready i could pay. What a man, he made my night. Such a kind and caring soul who deserves a LARGE raise. Thank you for restoring my faith in budgens freddie.”

“Large store.Big range of products.Feels a bit dated inside, it could definitely do with a bit of a freshen up.But it has plenty of stuff to be able to complete a weekly shop.”
