“The best part of going here is the personal yet professional touch the staff have. They seem to be able to adapt to all the different people who come in. Tesco express is not the cheapest place to shop but I go there because the staff always make me feel welcome. ? To them all.”

“As you would expect from Waitrose a very clean, welcoming Little Waitrose. Staff are efficient, polite and always a good customer experience from my perspective. Prices are not bad either!”

“For what is by all appearances a "small" town centre Iceland, this one is actually remarkably well stocked. A little tight in some of the aisles but that is the compromise for carrying far more of the Iceland range than many other town centre branches. Benefits its own car park (chargeable, but refunded against shopping) and right in the centre of Chippenham, easy walking to the bus station or to the train station.”

“I had a problem with my Clubcard at the Calne store, to cut a boring story short, I would have had to travel back to the Calne store from Lyneham to sort it out. I thought I would try in the Lyneham store first even though it wasn't their issue! The staff were happy to help me, it didn't work straight away but they kept trying until they were able to give me my refund. I felt they went above and beyond to help, so thank you very much.”

“It's a decent local shop, with a wide range and reasonable prices. Not as low as in a superstore, because you're paying for the convenience of a closer outlet which stays open longer; but not a rip-off either. Friendly staff, well laid-out and always clean. There's a petrol station here too, plus short-term parking. There used to be a car wash; in its place is an odd empty "bypass lane". Plenty of litter bins.”

“On the 15th May, at 3pm, we paid at Till No 3. Outside we checked the receipt, conscious that we had bought several deals and wanting to be sure that we'd received savings on these promos. We found a discrepancy of several pounds so returned to the till. We were helped by a young , dark-haired man who was friendly, patient and went to a good deal of trouble to trace the scanning problem and put it right. We don't know your name but would like to say, 'thank you.'”

“ Random act of kindness... Called at the Co op by my house on the way home & the lady who works there knows I'm a veterinary nurse and asked if I had a day off.I said I'd just been to a funeral and briefly told her the circumstances - she gave me a hug and carried on stacking shelves. When I got to the till she was one ahead of me in the queue- she bought a bunch of flowers, put them in the bagging area then turned and said 'they're for you' ? Such a wonderful kind thing to do (and they're pink! Gemma's favourite colour) ?#kindnessmatters #actofkindness #pink”

“It's a Marks and Spencer - always very clean, very presentable and luxury feeling food shop. Till systems are efficient. Lots of parking owing it to being a shopping area. Everything is where you'd expect it. Frozen section could be larger.”

“Staff have been amazing during this time and Tesco have a safe system (one way round the store) which keeps all shoppers safe. Some of the bigger stores in Chippenham could really learn a thing or two from just visiting this store!!! Thank you Tescos your staff at Chippenham are truly fantastic and understand how important it is to adapt a safe approach to shopping at this time”

“A great little shop, and the best in the village, probably one of the best Co-op's I've come across, nicely lit, well stocked, always clean, helpful staff, and a good range of produce. Could do with selling a few more motorbike magazines though.A good selection of wines and beers, snacks drinks and also a good bakery section.Won't shop anywhere else in the village if there.”

“Morrison’s is in general, your average run of the mill supermarket. Their ‘Market Street’ section where they keep fresh fruit & vegetables is better than other supermarkets. When a member of staff is asked where an item is, they automatically walk with you to show you it, which helps if you are looking for a particular brand & want to know if there are any that have been delivered but not displayed yet. The staff are also helpful on the ever increasing amount of self service tills. I was using crutches & I was going to ask one of the staff who supervise self checkout if she could help me to pack the items for me, but she went the extra mile & did the whole thing for me (except pay). I didn’t want to be a burden & ask for a lot of help but she was happy to do everything to help me which was very nice.”

“Thank You To The Girl Who Picked And Packed My Order And Put A Smiley Face On The Bag And My Order Form, Made Me Smile! Thanks For Packing My Order! You Guys Are Brilliant! ”

“It's a great facility, except they can't decide whether they're open or closed! Notices outside the shop part, claim both, while news from the shop keeps changing. The staff say the shop will generally remain open, but then there are random days when it's closed. No fuel from there until September: That's the only certain thing.”

“Bizarrely overpriced, good selection, surprisingly fast on the tills. Although I suspect they only have fast service from scaring away the bulk of their potential customers with their high prices. There's a Tesco just over the footbridge, and the town centre down the hill - both a short distance away. Nearby advertising of these cheaper shops, maybe in the Rail station, would be an interesting experiment.Good for eating on the go: Bakery, sandwiches & rolls, other fresh food - it's all there. Maybe they're primarily targeting non-locals using the Rail station.”

“Decent little corner shop, has most daily things that you'd ever really need. Will do for smaller shopping trips, parking is decent and its always well tended.Go here twice a week, or blow out at a larger supermarket once. Tho you'll likely end out here anyway, picking up the things you missed in the big shop.”

“Went to the cafe; was nice enough. My bacon brioche roll was nice but the roll was a bit overdone, and the staff don't offer sauces and don't seem to be around to ask after receiving food”
