Booked this place for two nights, good location with plenty of parking on first come first served. Food court very close within the same yard Greggs, Subway and Burger King with petrol station as well. Friendly staff and quiet location.
Towels and toilet paper topped up every day!
What we didn?t like was a very strong smell of damp everywhere within this building!

We booked a room and paid extra for our pets , we then got a letter from a third party company saying the cleaners had found evidence of someone smoking in the room , WE ARE NONE SMOKERS !!!!!! They say we have to pay £150 or go to court . We will no longer be using travel lodge this is utter appalling by the company!!!! We have been told this is not a one off occasion. And I hope the travel lodge is going to sort this out !

DO NOT STAY HERE OR AT ANY TRAVEL LODGE YOU WILL GET SCAMMED.
Staff were very friendly, the room was ok but the bathroom wasn't very clean at all. Only stayed one night so was ok but then recieved a letter charging me £150 as they found proof of smoking despite being a non-smoker. I was told they had found evidence of smoking in the room as well as smell of smoke but they are refusing to provide the proof they have and are demanding £150. Travelodge is a scam and now we are in a battle. After research I found a lot of people have received the same letters despite being non-smokers too and no evidence being provided. Avoid this company completely unless you want weeks of stress and hassle

Typical Travel Lodge, clean, comfortable bed and tea/coffee tray. The reason there isn't 5 star for rooms is because there isn't a walk-in shower in the disabled room. The bath is really high and difficult to get in and out

Traveled down from stoke on Trent 4 adults 4 children for a wedding arrived at hotel around 7 pm. Easy check in, staff very friendly and helpful forgot the woman's name I was speaking to but told us where to go for breakfast and the shops in amesbury very helpful. We had 3 rooms all spotless with plenty of towels and hot drinks. Rooms where big and slept 4, double bed and 2 singles. Bathrooms in the rooms where big with shower and bath, had 2 good nights sleep never heard a thing. Lots of parking outside the hotel and a overflow park across the site. Shell garage burger king subway and Greggs on the same site. Very good value rooms would 100% use again. A lot better than I expected thanks

We had a lovely stay there, Ryan whom was on desk when we got there was very helpful and really pleasant. The staff that we saw all lovely, would highly recommend.

I would like to give compliments to Dee - we sought some advice from him regarding our car breakdown and he went the extra mile to help us with it although we were not staying at this hotel at that time. Later on that evening, we went ahead to book 2 nights at this stay because of Dee?s hospitality. Room is well maintained and toilet is clean. Thank you so much, Dee!

Although the rooms are basic and need maintenance we were greeted at reception by a very lovely lady with a beautiful smile. Very welcoming.
Glad to see that they have changed the faulty lock of many years for an electronic one.
Car parking is a challenge here due to restricted spaces.
