From Wakefield Cathedral
Wakefield Cathedral is one of the three cathedrals of the Anglican Diocese of Leeds, and one of the 42 Anglican cathedrals in England.
For over 1000 years people have been gathering in this holy place, set in the heart of the city of Wakefield, to offer their prayers and praise to Almighty God.
The cathedral is open 365 days of the year and offers a place for all, be that for those attending a service or an event, wanting to light a candle, exploring the history of the building or simply seeking a quiet moment for reflection.
