Excellent from start of tenancy to end of tenancy.Had little contact as the house was in great condition. Whenever I did need something, they were responsive and issues resolved quickly.Definitely one of the best letting agents I've had in my many homes over the years

Absolutely poor service, they care more about their client (the landlord) than the tenants that rent the property. Whenever you ring them up for an issue they will say its with the landlord who will either take an awfully long time to fix the issue or not fix it at all. They will not hesitate to ring you up and accuse you of causing harm to the property (accuse you of causing a leak) with no evidence whatsoever to back up their claim. Have been renting out a property with them for nearly a year and am still having to report issues with them that never get fixed with their typical reply being "its with the landlord" or "someone will call back".Adding a further review after renting for 2+ years. The service is even worse than before and the letting agent cannot be more landlord centric. The carpets are worn out and there is now a flea issue and despite emailing the agent pictures, they have found a way to not do anything and save the landlord money citing something from the Landlord association. We have now reached a stage where every time we get in touch we have to take a break to recover mentally. If you care about your mental health then please do not engage with this agent.

I am really happy with "Numer 1 Letting" customer service. We have been looking for a property to rent in the last 2 months, even though we were unsuccessful and ended up renting from a private landlord at the end, "Number 1 Letting" customer service was outstanding in comparision to other agencies we were dealing with. I reccomend their services.

I?m very disappointed with the service from Number 1 lettings. My partner and I have had multiple issues since moving in a month ago. The letting agents claim our house was ?professionally cleaned? prior to us moving in and claim they have an ?invoice to prove it?, however the photos I took from our house were absolutely appalling when we moved in, and show more evidence than an invoice ever will. Their excuse was that ?cleaning is subjective? and we have different standards of cleaning?dead spiders, carpet stains, cobwebs, food stains, toilet dirt, hair and mould have nothing to do with high standards. Our carpets hadn?t even seen a vacuum, let alone been professionally cleaned. Unless the letting agents stood in our house and watched the cleaners do their job, I have no reason to believe it was cleaned based on the disgusting pictures I?ve taken.We were promised the repair of a couple of things before we signed the lease, they were not completed until over 3 weeks after signing for the property. We were even told (and backed up by) the maintenance guy who came to quote the work to be done that we were not to use the shower until he fixed it due to the severity of black mould and lack of sealant. We chased up the agency for 3 weeks asking when the work was going to be done, as we could not shower in our own house and we had to stay with my partners family. We paid for the house for 3 weeks without even being able to live in it.I?m not impressed with what has happened so far - this is our first home together and it has made what should have been a very exciting time for my partner and I a stressful and anxious one. I sincerely hope the rest of our tenancy goes more smoothly.

Let from Number 1 for almost 10 years. Always very responsive, very helpful even when the landlord themselves for various (valid) reasons wasn't. Friendly in house staff, maintenance staff and subcontractors always very professional. Willing to work around my own unusual working hours for visits and maintenance works. Couldn't have asked more.

I had 12 years at my property. Number 1 letting took over last year. Since then number 1 letting have been fantastic to deal with and nothing but helpful. Everyone I?ve spoke to have been excellent and made the transition as smooth as possible, nothing but praise for number 1 letting.

We have had 5 very special years at our family home through Number 1 Letting?s in Sherburn In Elmet. The whole team are incredible. If we had any questions or requests they were dealt with it immediately. They literally could not have delivered a better service. They really got to know us as a family and worked with us on any challenges life threw at us. I?m so sad to be leaving the house but more so the agency as from start to finish they have made us feel so supported and well maintained and safe. To Tracey and the whole team thank you so so so much for everything you have done for us. You really are all stars. And to anyone looking to rent if without question suggest them before anyone else. They give a real personal touch. Lots of Love Xxx

As a landlord with 40 properties who has recently changed agents to Number 1, I'm absolutely delighted with the thoroughly professional manner they deal with every aspect of the management of my properties. I couldn't recommend highly enough.

The property was soo dirty and neglected.Me and my pregnant wife had to clean for weeks to even make the property reasonably clean.What a load of rubbish the property was professionally cleaned!!

I switched agency to Number 1 last September and have been very satisfied with the results.As a long term and professional landlord, I have found that nothing is too difficult and they are contactable very readily. The team, but especially Emma Curtin, have been exceptional. She has been courteous, pro active and hands-on throughout the handover period of my properties and the management since that time. Switching to Number 1 was a very sensible and prudent decision.

I do not recommend this agency, I was disappointed twice. have poor communication. The apartment they were supposed to rent to me suddenly someone else saw and changed their mind, or you go to see the house and it turns out that it is already rented, they don't respect the time of others! hard to rent from them

Absolutely appalling estate agents. I have no clue how anyone actually manages to rent with this company. They take your details and never contact you back until it is too late. They have poor response time, general poor communication and a disgraceful attitude. I wouldn't rent with this company unless I was desperate (not that I would be able to rent as they don't get in contact!)
