“INCREDIBLE! This is my local supermarket i love the bakery and especially the brownies, the birchwood irish style sausages are delicious they are way better than richmond. Allthough i have noticed that the potatoes and carrots have been black in the middle multiple times but that doesnt effect my 5 stars i also love that they sell kayaks and all outdoor things . I personally love the fact that they sell LIDL socks, shoes, shirts, jackets and numerous other things. 5 star would recommend the brownies!!!”

“A good sized branch of Sainsbury’s with two and a half hours free parking.
Halifax town centre and the bus station is a 5 to 10 minute stroll from here and getting on and off the site is easy.”

“I'm currently doing fat fighters, also known as Slimming World and their free food meals are on offer so work out quite reasonable (3 for a tenner on the Chicken Rogan Josh which with rice easily feeds 2 people). Their Gregg's line is also great for my lad as he loves a sausage roll or steak bake and you can't go wrong with a nice pasty.”

“Herons is a great little store. Stocks some foods on a regular basis but there are always some surprises. Unusual items that you wouldn't see elsewhere. The prices are very competitive and the staff at the Halifax branch are very friendly. The manager is very helpful indeed.”

“Not a bad branch of Tescos and the new bargain range is really good in this store. It's big enough to have all the different departments although I think that the clothes range is quite small - mostly underwear and tights and some t shirts. nice Deli counter with roast chicken hot out of the grill. I have bought lots of little christmas presents from this branch - very cheap and cheerful and perfect for frugal christmas.”

“1 of the cheaper petrol station in Halifax at the moment. As well as petrol pump stations there is parking bays available. There is also a free to use cash machine. Inside u can get a basic shop from the Tesco supermarket just don't expect any Tesco value range, which is a shame given the current cost of living crisis. Always seems to be a Que when in there.”

“I went into the pharmacy to ask advice on a rather nasty painful swollen elbow. The pharmacist helped me and instantly recognised what he though it could be. He prescribed me some antibiotics which started to work straight away. An infected bursa of some kind.
Anyway, I think his name was Chris. He was very professional, helpful, curteous and well spoken. Definitely recommend to go there if you need advice and don't want to go to A&E and can't get a doctors appointment”
