Went for Mother's Day and while it was as busy as expected it wasn't so packed that there weren't any tables for lunch.The service in the cafe was extremely slow and they took so long to make 3 coffees that our food actually arrived at the table before they had made the drinks. Didn't look much round the garden center, I was mostly there for the cafe part of the trip. However they didn't have any lunch items - we expected sandwiches, jacket potatoes, or soup. It was just cake, coffee and ice-cream/milkshake type stuff. There were also only 2 cakes and they were not really labeled. Had to ask what... read full comment

Went to this garden centre yesterday for the first time and really enjoyed it.They have a little railway there, run by the South Downs Light Railway.
