“This store has been brilliant during lockdowns, providing everything I need while allowing me to isolate - fresh, frozen and store cupboard. No parking rage, no travelling needed. It stocks almost everything I need, and a few surprises too. Friendly and helpful staff. Full post office service whenever the store is open (which means longer hours than high street POs). All round brilliant. As things relax I think I am going to continue to shop here as much as possible - supermarket shopping is an unnecessary thing of the past for me.”

“This store has such a variety of items essential for my recent move into new property. some items are on the pricy side. but looking past that, staff offered help but I was simply browsing. A great choice of item's and everything is well stocked. been nipping in and out every so often to get items i need for my place”

“My excellent local store, having it less than 2 mins from my doorstep has been a blessing. Recently refitted and very smart with great stock range and very helpful staff. Great offers; post office for cash withdrawals + postage and the best vape/e-cigarette stock of anywhere outside of town centre. Easy free parking access as well. Absolutely sets the benchmark for how good smaller stores can be!”

“I would recommend the co op as it's normally a lovely shop to visit all staff are lovely except 1 who has disgusted myself and other shoppers today! I will be putting in a complaint about 1 manager who thinks it's exceptable to shout ,swear and kick off at the staff infront of a shop full of people ! I'm absolutely disgusted by this ! and feel sorry for the staff members on shift ! highly unprofessional, and he is a shift manager !”

“I had spent some time in hospital having been diagnosed with COPD, when I came out I was a bit wobbly. I walked to the Tesco's in St Leonards Road and to my horror realised I had forgotten my phone. The staff were wonderful in helping me get home, particularly John, who carried all my carrier bags. All I can say is "Thank you!" so much for your help. I will recommend Tesco's at the end of St Leonards Road every time! Thank you again!!”

“Best co-op I've used in Crawley and Horsham. The price on the shelf is the price you pay, not like Ifield, Bewbush and Maidenbower where the change in prices isn't reflected on the tills until you raise the issue with staff.”

“Fantastic service from Hazel! Wouldn't of been able to go to work this week if it wasn't for her! Will make sure to use this branch as much as I can in the future!”

“Store and staff fine.Parking at back very dark and felt unsafe. No lighting until you got at and walked very near building then it came on briefly. Needs to be lit all the time to make it safe.”

“So shocked to see people are complaining about the ladies in the Post Office, I actually go out of my way to go here, there always super helpful and very polite. Service is also fast and it's Royal Mail prices so that's nothing to do with Shelley's! Think there brilliant!I tend to buy the local produce from the shop element and it is more expensive but thats because quality is fantastic. I highly recommend.”

“This store has all the things you need. Surprising amount of products for a small shop. Open all the time. Unless the " criminal gangs " of Henfield have robbed it. All in all great shop would recommend the trip to visit it.”

“What amazing service! Georgie served us and was so helpful. Never thought I would write a review for a one stop but this woman has customer service down as good as it gets. Well done for recruiting her.”

“This is a brilliant store for such a small branch. I use it at least twice a week... for many years. Staff are always polite.I really don't know what people are moaning about which is why I've written this email.ps...I do not have any affiliation with the Co-op.”

“Had a fabulous flavoursome and colourful meal at Cowfold Cottage Tandoori. The owner served us and he made us feel so welcomed. The fresh naan bread was the best I've ever tasted and the chicken tikka korai was packed full of flavour and served sizzling on the hotplate. A lovely meal with the whole family.”

“I was recently in Tesco, I must say, the new layout of the store did cause me rather a lot of confusion, much to my relief along came (in my eyes) a lady that is most certainly an asset to this company - going by her name tag, her name was Molly. She was the upmost helpful and provided me with clear and accurate directions towards the much loved (in my household) bakery section. Not only did I successfully locate the 12-pack doughnuts, but also had my faith in customer service restored simultaneously. Once I reached the self-service checkouts, it was a pleasant surprise to again be greeted by Molly's striking smile; she maintained an admirable level of professionalism, whilst also being friendly and personable. Not only was Molly fantastic, but I must also give a special mention to Sally and Jasmine of whom were both spectacular. Thank you all for restoring my faith in customer service.”

“It's a small shop but good for the daily essentials. Very friendly staff who seem happy to serve you. Not a huge amount of parking outside so most people just abandon their cars on the side of the road.”

“Handy for fuel and quick shopping essentials rather than going to the major supermarkets. The refit helped with parking somewhat but they didn't take the opportunity to solve the issue of cars getting from parking through the often conjested refueling area. The two should have been separate facilities. If you refuel often you get caught in a long queue of shoppers. One till in busy periods should be fuel only to prevent queues of cars on the road. Its still a great store. Just needs some rethinking and care when busy.”
