“very convenient store with a post office all hours needed... prices are reasonable as its the convenience having a shop close rather then driving a little extra...
Staff all polite and presentable... don't listen to bad reviews”

“Best co-op I've used in Crawley and Horsham. The price on the shelf is the price you pay, not like Ifield, Bewbush and Maidenbower where the change in prices isn't reflected on the tills until you raise the issue with staff.”

“I use Tesco Express in Redkiln Way because it offers Esso Synergy 99+ petrol which didn't until recently have ethanol added to the fuel. It's kinder to my 50 year old classic car and improves the performance of my daily drive which thrives on high octane fuel.

The only downside is that people on occasion fill their car with petrol and then do a grocery shop blocking the petrol pumps and tying up the serving staff whilst they scan and collect payment. Not well thought out.

If I read the notices correctly the garage / store is closing on the 10th May for redevelopment and will not reopen till September. Let's hope they fix things.”

“Very lucky to have this shop in the local neighbourhood. The store presentation is fantastic, the staff are all excellent and very friendly and attentive. The prices for a lot of staples are competitive versus the big supermarkets. I prefer shopping here to the local Waitrose. I notice that a few other reviews have criticised the Post Office part of the operation, but I’ve always found this to be a very positive experience too. Yes there have been restrictions on international deliveries but this is entirely down to Royal Mail and not anything this store has any control over. So a clear 5 out of 5 for me!”

“Great local family owned store. The owners are great and they not only have a variety of last min bits you always forget on your weekly shop or run out of without warning but they also sell all the necessary stuff like tea, coffee, milk and most importantly sweets. We all need to support these little businesses as they're a credit to our community”

“Obviously more expensive that larger shops but still not bad for a petrol station shop and comparable to Coop as part of the franchise. Has all the essentials+, friendly, convenient. And takes Evri packages too. Very good addition to Southwater.”

“Thank you to the most helpful and supportive staff in the shop today. My friend was injured falling off his bike, the staff gave him a first aid kit and helped us clean and dress his wounds. They also made him tea!”

“Friendly and polite staff. Well stocked shop. Handy for Evri parcels. Their label printer is more often than not in service which can't be said for some other Evri ParcelShops.”

“It's a small shop but good for the daily essentials. Very friendly staff who seem happy to serve you. Not a huge amount of parking outside so most people just abandon their cars on the side of the road.”

“⸻

I always have a great experience at this Co-op. The store is clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. The staff are really friendly, polite, and always happy to help – it makes a real difference. They have a great selection of fresh food, essentials, and even some local products. It’s the perfect place for quick top-up shops or last-minute bits. Definitely one of the better convenience stores around!”

“This shop seems to get a lot of stick, but I'm not sure why. Aside from the odd automatic till tech fail, I think they do a fantastic job serving Rudgwick and surrounding areas. 7am until 10pm? Amazing ?”

“Small convenience store that has a surprising amount of stock for its size. Useful parking. They stopped selling Green and Blacks and taramasalata so knocked a star off.”

“This store has such a variety of items essential for my recent move into new property. some items are on the pricy side. but looking past that, staff offered help but I was simply browsing. A great choice of item's and everything is well stocked. been nipping in and out every so often to get items i need for my place”

“A useful small supermarket with a good selection of fruit and veg and extensive freezer and chiller cabinets. Sells garden plants in summer, fresh flowers, newspapers and greetings cards. Off licence.”

“First time I have been in the coop here, seemed well stocked and the young girl was very polite unlike the man working there who I assume was the manager.Instead of asking the girl to do something politely he ordered her to do it in a very rude manner, not rude words just the way he did it. If that was done to me in front of customers I wouldn't be working there for much longer”

“Great selection for a Tesco extra. But annoying sometimes when only 1 till open. Happy to use self scanning most of the time but sometimes you need them to scan.”
