“I went into the o2 store today, and I’m not sure what her name was but she was really nice and helpful, she transferred everything from my old phone to my new phone, she explained everything to me in detail and she was very kind from the moment I walked in there. Thank you so much.”

“I’ve owned the same laptop since 2018. My grandmother bought it for me before I started my fine art degree. I’ve used it basically every single day since then. It’s been with me through a heck of a lot. Editing videos, extensive photoshop, spreadsheets, and a heck of a lot of Emmerdale. It’s also had its screen replaced two or three times, and the bottom half was replaced at least once too. So technically, physically, it isn’t actually the same laptop my grandma kindly funded all those years ago.Anyway, I’m dyspraxic, which I often explain to people as just being medically clumsy. I break things easily. I drop things. I trip up a lot. So when I somehow dropped my phone on my laptop screen a few weeks ago, I was disappointed, but not surprised. I was days away from going on holiday, so needed my laptop fixed as quickly as possible. I’ve had bad experiences with repair shops who aren’t like certified by Apple, so I was very grateful that my mother drove me all the way to my nearest repair shop, which just so happened to be iStore, Crawley. The staff member I spoke to explained to me that not only would it take more than 24 hours to fix my rather old MacBook, but that within a matter of months Apple would stop making parts for such an old model. In the end, I bought myself a new MacBook. It was only a tiny bit more expensive than fixing my old computer, plus it’s much faster, it can be fixed again in the future, I could take it away with me that day, and it isn’t lined with years worth of crumbs. I’m very grateful to my grandmother for keeping me in laptops, even if she’s never been very good at much else (shoutout Doreen!).Also, if you want to know about wheelchair accessibility, everything is on one flat level, and things are spaced out wide enough that you probably won’t be worrying about bumping into anything. The counter at the end of the shop is perhaps a little higher than most wheelchair users would prefer, but that’s about it.A different member of staff was also incredibly helpful when I brought my laptop back in a week later with bluetooth problems. Apple customer support had been rather useless, so it was nice to be able to speak to a real person who was straightforward with me about my options and helped my figure out the issue. If you’re in West Sussex and have any Apple-based needs, this is the place to go.”

“Exceptionally helpful staff, good prices, and our vacation SIM card are working well. Our only complaint is they take information about everyone's concern or request, and then go back and complete each individually. This seems to take much longer, and it's difficult to anticipate your wait time”
