The customer service at this branch is a disgrace. They took a double payment from my mother in law for an iPhone and nearly a month later after three visits to her bank (in Redhill) and repeat visits to this branch and ages on the phone they still haven't refunded her. Avoid this place and EE.

Firstly, I would say the staff I spoke to at this store were very polite and courteous but unfortunately, despite the full service offered, they could not unlock a phone.Secondly, how did I get here. Well, I tried the online website for EE to undertake this task. After four days of trying it just would inform me that there was a problem, so eventually on day five I contacted their ""excellent" customer service.It is anything but excellent. No matter what time or day of the week you ring they tell you that they are very busy. So, either they have lots of problems and thousands of customers are trying to have issues resolved and/or they simply do not employee enough staff.Like some other companies, EE may be brilliant when you buy a product, but as soon as a problem arises or you need support, they just do not want to know.Back to my storey. After nearly 90 minutes of trying to contact customer service I eventually got through. The gentleman listened to my request, went off, then came back to check the information, went off again before coming back to say it was all done.EXCEPT, it's not and so hence calling into the store. Thought they would either be able to help or have a direct route to customer service, but no.I do not know whether I was lied to by the customer service to get rid, or whether he thought he had done the job, but it is taking far too long to resolve a simple task.

Spoke to a rep over the phone on the 9th about pre ordering the pixel 8 pro, I confirmed the package and they said they were able to do that for me no problem, I said I can't agree a time as I have kids and have to work round them and he was very nice and said no problem just come in when your free I think he's name was josh or John.I got to the crawley store and I am met by the person who books you in, she said there's about a 20 minute, which wasn't a problem. I asked if I could return in 20 minutes, she said that not a problem and assured me that I was in the queue because she's put me in the system, she also said if you don't come then they would give me a call. I return at 12 pm after 20 minutes and wasn't approached or even acknowledged for at least 25 mins at this point I left. I never received the phone call that they said they would give me.I gave them another chance and returned on the 10th, I was seen straight away, I explained what I was looking for etc and that I had seen a price on there website and that what it was, they said that's not a problem we just need to do some checks for security purposes, after doing all the security checks we finally started talking about the contract.We both looked at the prices on ee website and wrote it all down and went in the back, came out with I think that's the wrong price and it was probably for the pixel 7a, I continued to show him tha it's on there website on the pixel 8 pro. He went back in to the back and returned saying the best he can do is £66 a month. I showed him that online it says £50 a month for 36 month why is yours so different, he said they can't do he same dealI do not recommend EE to any new customer, the customer service was so poor. I'm with o2 and been with them for 18+ years, I wanted to change but I'm having to stick with them now. Just shows no one is a valued customerI hope no one has to waste time at Crawley EE

Stay away from this place!I ordered a Motorola Razor and the incompetent salesmanaccidentally ordered 2.I have now ended up paying for 2 phones instead of just the one I ordered.One month later they still can't sort out the mess they caused me.Pathetic!

I'd like to say thank you to Josh, I walked in 10-20 minutes before they shut they managed to squeeze me in despise the lack of time. All the staff was friendly and helped me as much as possible sorting out my sim thank you again- sincerely Jacob

Exceptionally helpful staff, good prices, and our vacation SIM card are working well. Our only complaint is they take information about everyone's concern or request, and then go back and complete each individually. This seems to take much longer, and it's difficult to anticipate your wait time

Writing this 5 star review for the staff in the Crawley EE store today 18th April 2023. All very friendly and helpful. In particular Rachel who specifically dealt with my enquiry. Initially I went in as my phone was broken/unresponsive. She advised the cost to repair, however luckily for me I was at the end of my contract and was eligible for an upgrade so I did this instead of the repair. She spent a good amount of time to review exactly what I required with my phone, and what deal was the best to give me the cheapest option available for the phone I wanted, storage and text/call/data option. She was so amazing and we had a lovely chat whilst she remained focused and on point during my experience. Highly recommend Rachel if you visit this store. Couldn?t fault her in any way. Thank you!

Would have ooted for zero stars, if given an option. There is a disparity between what the EE helpline advises and what the store says. My mum went in to get an upgrade at the end of her 2 year contract recently, which includes her broadband. She was told she had to pay £50 upfront and a tablet was included in the deal, she went home and properly read the contract. Then called the helpline. She was told there should be no upfront fee and she could take the tablet back , as there is a 14 day cooling-off period. The shop said no, that isn't true and the £50 makes the contract less than it otherwise would have been.she was never offered a choice of deals, just this one, and only 1 phone. I feel she has been missold and the shop took advantage of a non-tech savvy woman in her 70's. Truly disgusting service

On Wednesday 28th December my husband and I, with other family members, visited the Crawley branch of EE having been re-directed from Redhill where the shop was closed. Our reason for the visit was to get a new SIM card for my husbands phone. On arrival we were greeted by a member of staff who took details from us about what we wanted. She also asked if we had any form of photographic ID with us and we explained that the only ID my husband had was a bus pass which contained his photo. The staff member then went away for about 10 mins only to come back and tell us that we could not get anyone to help us for 45 mins and to return then. After about 35 mins we were returning to the shop when we received a text to say we were next in the queue. On arrival, seeing my husbands name on a screen, we sat down. Eventually another staff member came to see us and took from us all the same information we had already given. He then told us that he needed to register my husbands phone and for that he would need a passport or driving licence for ID. Again we explained about the bus pass, and he went off to check if it would be acceptable, eventually coming back to tell us it was not. After a total time waste of well over an hour, over 2 hours if you count the trek from Redhill to even find an EE shop in the first place, we came away frustrated and disappointed.After returning home, we visited our local EE shop, walked out 45 mins later with a new SIM card and my husbands new phone set up and ready to go, all done with pleasant and courteous service and no hanging around! I fail to see what your shop is trying to achieve with your system of ?triage? because, in our case, all it did was extend the time of what turned out to be a pointless journey - I just hope our local branch never changes to your system.
