Yes, it does mean that sometimes the queue for the counter can be a bit long, but that's because sometimes online customer services just doesn't deliver or people simply don't want to spend their life online. I am definitely sticking with Nationwide as my bank because of their commitment to a high street presence (including the smaller towns) and a commitment to staffing their branches with staff and not just ATMs and a single member of staff to point you in their direction.”
