I phoned at 8am for an appointment and was prepared for a long wait. However my call was answered in under 5 mins and I was offered a same morning face to face appointment. My husband also needed an appointment so I was able to book his at the same time for a face to face. This was dealt with quickly and efficiently. The lady on reception was very helpful too directing me to the appropriate room. The appointments ran only a few minutes late and we both felt very grateful for the outcome and the attention we received. The relief of being able to get that attention so quickly was a boost on the road to our recovery. Lion Health comes in for a lot of stick but I would like to give credit where credit is due. Thank you

Iv ordered my repeat medicine 2 times now, I am getting a email, saying it will be ready in 72 hours, but now it has been over 2 weeks.

Shockingly rude receptionists, backwards and embarrassingly bad phone system. You become a number the moment you enter this meat-grinder; waited on by automated voices and unhappy humans who see you as the real problem and themselves as martyrs. The faceless cold experience in store for you here comes across more like a satire than it does a failing as it is almost too impersonal to be real. The spirit of the NHS is bogged down here by bureaucracy, self entitlement and overcrowding. You would not choose these guys on a good day if you had a choice. Even Murrays Pharmacy has HUGE wait times for medication and merciless staff who find you a burden just to talk to (as if they are the only ones over worked and under paid). When is someone going to do something about this place? We need someone to go undercover as a patient here for a while and see what we have to deal with. It is everything wrong with our system, industrial patient farming at its worst.

Awful surgery. Overly bureaucratic, pointless red tape, unhelpful staff. Complete lack of care and understanding of what patients actually need. It desperately needs a complete overhaul regarding policies and procedures.

It's got a lot better, easy to call and get though within minutes. No appointments available on that day but got a call back and an appointment booked for a weeks time.

Any classic Lion Health Receptionists mess-up.Russell Hall send my wife to the Doctors for an urgent appointment to see the Nurse. She needs to see a nurse today.The receptionist tells my wife there are no nurses available but she can book my wife in for a weeks time, make a note on the system, try again at 8am. Being left frustrated, my wife leaves but while in the car park, calls the surgery, speaks to a nice lady who says, "we have an appointment today for 3.30pm"Do the Receptionists know what they are doing?

I am going to keep the booking system aside. The care and follow up by Dr's Simpson and Kyprianou are second to none. They listen well and communicate brilliantly, following up exactly with what they say they will. Very thorough and supportive. Keeping this high standard must be so difficult with all the patients they see. Hats of to these two.

All the doctors are wonderful, but the system is broken, all appointments are regularly filled at 8.00am, there's queues for flu jabs all around the building but no actial patients to be seen. I've moved to another surgery today as I desperately need medical help and cannot keep phoning every morning. I've been with this surgery for 35 years, its very sad to see its failings

Absolutely appalling "surgery". It's totally impossible to book an appointment, the system is not at all functional. Every time I've spoken to the reception staff they are arrogant, patronising & downright rude. I don't know how they sleep at night knowing the way they treat people. Nobody at this place deserves to wear an NHS uniform. Doesn't even deserve a one star review.

I rang for my blood tests.. receptionist said they came bk normal... this was for gout... it was in my foot then my knee it's now gone into my ankle..I'm in excruciating pain and I begged the receptionist to book me an appointment... this was 5pm this evening.... he point blank refused!! ... there you have it ladies and Gentlemen.. lion health refuse to see patients in excruciating pain!!..

I will give 3 stars because I have received good care and support before from certain doctors there but getting through for an appointment can be very long winded. They have been quite responsive helping my wife with maternity appointments.The gym located on sight goes to waste as it?s nearly always shut with lights off. It could be a gem if run properly

Been using lion health for 6 months now. I am today changing back to my old doctors. Absolutely terrible. They only want to to tick boxes not help anyone. AVOID PLEASE!

I just want to say how I have always been satisfied with this practice. Yes, I?ve had to wait in a queue on the phone, but have always managed to get an appointment and every doctor I have seen have been very helpful, and when necessary they have referred me to the appropriate department.
