A wonderful team of caring crafters who make a wide variety of items to help the community. A real point of pride for the area that brings a smile to so many faces!

From Crafting for Communities
We are a local charity, that makes hand made items for the community.
Some of the people we support:
NHS
Care Homes
Outreach
Homeless
Those fleeing abuse and Trafficking
Schools
Mental Health Teams
Those diagnosed with Cancer
Special Needs setting ......
The items we make are to either relieve discomfort or bring joy in difficult situations.
We have a band of merry makers and supporters. Including volunteer drivers and hub managers. Together we make and distribute around 3-4,000 items a month.
We raise money by:
Selling some of our hand made items
Facebook auction site - new and nearly new items
We apply for funding where we can
We accept donations of new wool and fabric - not upholstery fabric, that we then use to make the items.
