**Update** they have replied to my feedback as you can see but don't be fooled, this shop doesn't make you feel comfortable, beaverbrooks three doors down have been very friendly and very professional, I'd recommend going there instead\\n\\nI visited this store to buy my first luxury watch, I'd made the journey specifically. I wasn't greeted by any staff nor was I asked if I needed help, I looked around to get the attention only to be ignored. I stayed in the shop for about ten minutes but soon felt like they weren't interested in speaking to me. At the same time there were two sales men helping one younger women. I felt very much that I didn't belong at the store nor did they want my money. I'll be travelling to Birmingham in the near future to buy my watch in the know that it will be a much more enjoyable experience.\\n\\nI will avoid this store to make any purchases in future and I'd recommend you do the same.

Went here this week for a watch. Great service and friendly staff. Had a few questions to ask. The assistant manager Mo was really helpful and patient in answering questions. Really knows his stuff. Would definitely recommend 5 stars.

Firstly I have given 1 star, just because you have to.\\n3 months ago, after expressing an interest in a new Rolex with, in fairness a Gentleman who new his facts (about watches) at the Merry Hill Branch, he advised me that I would have to register my interest to buy the said piece and would then be put on a waiting list of up to 9 months before I could purchase it. After giving all my details to him for the registration process, and after he was trying to sell me a second hand Rolex which was in stock, to this day I have heard nothing, not even to weather I'm on the 9 month waiting list! or that I'm even registered as expressing an interest! however, I do seem to get a lot of emails from Goldsmiths trying to sell me other Items that I don't want (is this a new way round GDPR?) as for the Rolex I have recently purchased it from another well named company, who said that who ever I spoke to \\\"doesn't have a clue what he's talking about\\\".\\nThis was my first time ever into Goldsmiths and my last. I have now blocked sales emails coming from the company. Well done Goldsmiths!!!

Went in for a gift wanted a watch the sales man told us he bought a new one from the back when we asked him to prove it to us he laughed in my face and said that was the last product. I felt so pinerlised as he thought it was so funny to lie to us. Never again would I buy anything from there really bad service.

So I popped in to look for some earrings for my wife for our anniversary, Mo and the staff were more than happy to help, had a cracking laugh with them while looking through the selection of jewellery they had and found what I was looking for which I couldnt find else where else!\\nAll the staff made me feel really welcome and treated me with respect even when in my scruffs from work.\\nWife was over the moon with the earrings and I won't be sleeping in the sofa this year around!\\nJoking apart, these guys were spot on for service value for money and approachability!\\nThank you both!

The team member with the beard, I didn't quite get his name is very cold and extremely unhelpful. Although under the same umbrella, I find Watches of Switzerland offer a better service. I think this chap was extremely arrogant the way he came across almost assuming that I can't afford the product I was asking about. Won't be visiting again and bought my omega from a better to deal with firm few doors down from them.

Goldsmiths, Merry Hill, Lynne. A superb assistant, most helpful in adjusting my Seiko watch while I waited, further advice on resizing my wife's wedding ring. Subsequent quoting, price, timescale and contact details...Great experience.
