Two years ago I stayed there for 10 days and I obtained excellent service from the crew, I was impressed and now again I have come to Birmingham and I wanted to book a room for myself. However, I don't know what the condition was there. A crew member came outside and behaved extremely rudely, he said no rooms were available, yes it's normal that rooms can be fully booked. But he didn't even allow me to enter the reception. He shouldn't have spoken that way. I liked their services last time that's why I came there again to stay. You guys should have chosen the right employees. Thanks

Booked this hotel well in advance (July 2022) for Springsteen concert. It took 2 months for the hotel to inform me that the confirmed booking was cancelled. This information came after the date the hotel closed, so very poor communication. I'm really disappointed that Ibis and the Accor group were very unhelpful and refused to rebook me into alternative accommodation at the price I had booked at. Obviously 2 months later prices had increased. I booked through Booking.com who were equally unhelpful. But I expected more for Ibis.

Not much to fault with this hotel. Clean room, friendly staff and right where I needed to be. It's about 2km from City centre and a long walk or a taxi ride if you are not familiar with Birmingham. I went for the football, as the stadium is just up the road. If you are not a football fan check the dates as the bar area can get a little lively on match days. Really good experience all round.

Extremely rude security staff! We just asked if we can eat in the restaurant, which was obviously operating (could see it through window with people eating), but were pushed out the door in a highly rude manner even before we could ask our question. Have never experienced such a rude approach, at a premise acclaimed to be belong to the hospitality sector...

My booking was for a week, my room was perfect, tidy and clean. I especially liked the bathroom and it's pod like style. My bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever had. They came in to replace the towels and make the bed everyday. My valuables were safe left out, thank you to the trustworthy cleaning staff. The food was excellent and well priced. I had breakfast included and it was well worth it.(Note: I'd highly suggest the Hangry Burger, one of the best burgers I've ever had)Just on the outskirts of city centre it was the perfect location to suit my needs, easy pick up and drop off for Bolt and Uber as well as a bus stop incredibly close.Coming from Canada on my first trip to the UK alone, the staff made my stay remarkable.Incredibly kind, patient and knowledgeable. They helped my stay in Birmingham to be one to remember.Everytime I came back from a day out, they asked me how it was and what I got up to with genuine interest. Felt like a family more so than workers trying to make their pay and head home.Ousmond and Victoria were especially considerate and kind.Thank you to all the staff at Ibis. If I ever do return, I know exactly where I'll be staying.Ibis gained a loyal customer.-Cheers x

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband and 2 friends for a wedding nearby. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The manager who checked us in was super friendly and helpful. We headed down to the bar area to wait for the arrival of my friends who were staying in another room and they were checked in by Atif who proceeded to provide excellent service for our group the whole night. He was friendly, chatty and helped with anything we needed. A truly guest-focused individual. The room was sizeable and comfy. Breakfast was excellent and really set us up for a long day at the wedding. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel!

Separate charge for parking I don't remember seeing when I booked (£8).Next to McDonald's, about 15 mins from the centre of Birmingham. Not the most pleasant walk into town.Really, really pleasant staff who really knew their stuff - no delays in checking in or getting an invoice.Breakfast was nice, selection of cooked or continental.Bathroom felt exactly Ike what you get on an airplane, not the most homely but I only stayed for 1 night so it was acceptable.

13th of August 2022 I paid near £90 for an absolutely rubbish hotel. RECEPTIONIST RUDE. No AC when the system is set up in the room. I Became ill with heat and had migraine and had sun stroke. Bathroom stinks. They provided with a rubbish fan. Con company. I wouldn't even pay 30pound for it

IBIS Birmingham Bordesley Circus: Cost Cutting machineThe experience was volatile and lacked consistency.1. Some of their staff members are very nice. But some can be rude sometimes. For e.g I asked their manager (not naming him) that could You please turn on the AC, and give me fried eggs in the breakfast. To which he replied You can change your hotel, if you don't like here. The tone and vocabulary of some of your staff members does not depict professionalism and proves they are untrained.2. However, the individuals at the house-keeping were amazing, they were polite, respectful, and co-operative.3. The breakfast was cheap, it lacked quality, consistency, taste, variety, and feautures. First of all You should add variety to your breakfast.. Your cutlery was disgusting, it was old, and unclean. The scrambbled eggs were dry sometimes. IBIS Birmingham Bordesley Circus cut costs so much that they keep boxes of cereals.3. When I booked this room, I was told that A/Cs work. However, they did not. I could not sleep properly for some nights, due to the heatwave. . And when I complained the manager (Not naming him but you know), it's not on our website.4. The majority of the staff seems untrained.5. Rooms were good but A/Cs did not work.6. Food of your hotel is not upto my standard.

Stayed for one night as a stopover on the way down south. Looked for a hotel that accepted dogs (£10 charge). What an amazing hotel for the money. All of the staff were friendly, smiling and helpfull. The room was modern and clean. Car park was secure with electric gate. Mcdonalds right next door. Would definitely stop again.

Stayed 4 nights, thurs-sun; clean rooms although a bit smaller than anticipated, so take this in to consideration and maybe check ahead if you have large room requirements. No issues with facilities (the toilet is a compact toilet with walk-in shower) and all the staff I met have been very friendly and welcoming.Only issue encountered was due to needing the window open to beat the heat (air con isn't air con), it meant hearing the activities of others in the hotel, sometimes late in the night. Not really able to mention this main desk as can't pinpoint the room(s) behind the 3am bedroom olympics. Still, if you're a deep sleeper this shouldn't bother you.Overall, if I'm in the area again I'd be happy to use this hotel, although will pack a fan if weather is going to be warm.- David

Staff were lovely, bedroom was very small and a 2ft6 in bed for a adult is too small, the bathroom was like a pod or a caravan bathroom with everything on the slant because of the shower having no tray just a drain so when you sat on the toilet you felt as if you were falling into the shower

New clean hotel with free secure parking. Nice bathroom. TV a bit small I think 26". Reception very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful with got food available at extra cost of £9.50
