Short branch opening times and all the local branches are now closed. Staff keep ushering you to self service even when you have told them you need to use the desk. Minimal staff behind desk. More than enough staff lingering around trying to make you do their job using the self serve machines. Poor customer service.

I went to the Birmingham Grand Central and met Nuno who was absolutely amazing!!! I went in to do an international transfer, he showed me how to save money to do it online, and he helped me earn interest on my savings and now I?m earning well over £300 a year! Such a bubbly humble and always willing to help attitude!!! Would love to come to the bank and speak to him all the time, well done Nuno

Queque to paying in machines are long. Lady at the desk had no people waiting but still wouldn't pay in cash for me. Low quality of customer service in my opinion.

Bank open late 9.30 close early 3pm Sat. 1pm and ofter ATM no working to put money in to account. ?

Terrible staff hospitality don?t care about their customers. Made an order and when I went to pick up my money that had chosen to close 30 minutes earlier than their real closing time! Wouldn?t never come to this bank if it wasn?t for my local branch closing

I came to this Barclays today, entered at 14.16? stood in the queue until 14.39? to pay in two cheques that took 2 minutes. Not enough staff to help or serve customers. SO slow.I missed my train by seconds, I just got to the platform as it left.Thanks.

I would give a 0 star if possible . Regularly gives misinformation despite me making multiple trips down back and forth . Had my account closed multiple times for reasons that was not communicated and in fact sometimes told the opposite of. The staff here are clueless at giving information. They give you incomplete information or incorrect information , don?t take ownership over their misadvises and causes detriment to customers through no fault of their own. Appalling service .

Not enough paying in machines, ques way too long. Layout of the building is bad. Only bonus was the machine accepted my notes first time, but seems someone next to me had been shoving them in and out for well over ten minutes. Not on really, but seems the way most banks are operating these days. However i'd been to the nationwide opposite and there was no line for the paying in machine, and i was in and out. Staff seem over worked, so clearly understaffed.

Long queues. Automated machines that spit back money resulting in multiple attempts to eventually deposit cash. My cash got stuck and machine shut down on a saturday resulting in manager advising nothing can be done until monday. Money was needed to be depositied purchase car and insurance to go work which now cant happen. Hoping they sort the issues out because closing local branches and lack of staff and services is having a bad affect. Once my issues are sorted i will be looking to go with a new bank as they're clearly not fit for purpose anymore.

Called in this bank today & there must of been 20 people in the queue, I tried to go into the queue for counter which was alot quicker, to be told to wait in the queue. What the hell is the bank worker telling people where to stand she'd be better serving people, once I complained, I got moved, Shame on u barclays, its a total shambles, sort it out, its a joke.

No humans at the counters. Closes 1 pm on Saturdays. They have basically locked few cash machines in the branch and everybody can rush there to stand in a long queue for those machines. So many other branches CLOSED down!

Possibly, the worst experience amongst all banks I've ever met...Submitted my signature to open a foreign currency account (yeah, it's a nightmare, you can't open it in the app or through online banking!), and then the helpline had no idea about the update date... They have been trying to message this branch, but haven't received any answer. After one week of fruitless attempts to catch an update, I've visited this branch and they have just lost my signature! The manager helping me has no idea where the staff member who took my signature one week ago is now, and of course, no one was going to call me and invite me to submit the signature again. 5 working days for a second time just to upload my signature into their system - WHAT are you doing with this signature, sending it to all commercial clients to sell?It is not the fault of some specific staff member, I suppose, it is because of the rotten and dilapidated management system of this bank as a whole.P.S. Their mobile app is a mayhem, it keeps crashing and behaving in a completely bizarre way. Helpline managers "from our dedicated team are striving to deliver the best service" but they do not have any access just to check any updates on my signature.
