Needed to checkin early and reception was really helpful and allowed me to do this as I had to work remotely. Very well located with restaurants and shops within minutes walk.
Rooms: Large spacious room with wet desk and sockets and my room had a decent view with bright natural daylight.
Nearby activities: Walkable to all the shops and small businesses and pubs and restaurants in Kenilworth
Walkability: Walkable to all the shops and small businesses and pubs and restaurants in Kenilworth
Noteworthy details: As expected, comfortable and clean. sufficient parking spots at the hotel

Stayed before had a better room . This room seemed tired looking. Bar ran out of a lot of types of drinks again like last year. Is a great location parking is good. Breakfast also good.
Rooms: Had a much better room last time and no issues I.but this one was tired looking .there was red wine stains around the room walls and curtains and carpet looked like someone had been bleeding all over the place.

Just a visitor to the coffee shop, however, as a regular customer was very surprised and disappointed to be told by the young Barista of a 25% increase in the price of my coffee order. This was not posted prior to the rise and the Barista was embarrassed having to tell me and the regulars of the increase.
I believe that New/temporary managers are in place at the hotel. It seem to me that the large overnight unannounced price rises have left the poor staff to take the "flack".
It does seem to be a kick in the teeth for the loyal regular customers who will probably explore the alternative establishments, LilGreens, Fassato Lounge and Almanak, All in the same area with a better decor and ambience.

Staff were not very knowledgeable about anything. Had to ask a few times to get things for the room. Location is good though

I travel a lot for business and this Holiday Inn was probably one of the worst hotels I?ve stayed in recently especially considering how expensive it is to stay here. Definitely do not expect a 4 star hotel.
Rooms are extremely basic, soulless and dated. The AC in the room didn?t work and someone had left a heater on in my room so it was initially sweltering. There are no plug sockets next to bed, only two USB-A sockets. I only had a USB-C and a UK mains adapter so I had to charge my phone across the room in the only plug sockets in the entire room? The TV is unwatchable as it is absolutely tiny (~20?) and very far away from the bed. It was nice to have an iron and ironing board in the room, but unfortunately it was a very cheap iron and it kept leaking water onto my shirts.
The bathroom was actually very clean and had possibly been newly refurbished, but the shower tray was a bit grim and discoloured. I find it contradictory that it says in the bathroom ?to help care for our planet and reduce waste?? yet they supply disposable plastic cups wrapped in plastic to drink from as opposed to glasses? Which makes me think it is disingenuous and purely a cost saving measure.
My room (107) was above the cafe/bar so I could hear people chatting until late. One evening a guest was shouting over the football which kept me awake for a while. The windows were not very sound insulated so noise from the road outside was quite loud. As you can imagine I didn?t sleep very well although the bed itself was quite comfortable.
The car park is not suited to the number of rooms in this hotel, it was completely full up almost every day so had to pay £7 a day to park in another public car park nearby that fortunately had spaces.
Breakfast was nice with a pleasant buffet of hot and cold food, pancakes, fruit, pastries etc. The apple juice tastes awful though, I assume it is made from concentrate and the proportions were messed up as it tasted like pure concentrate.
I would avoid the restaurant and go to one of the many nice pubs or restaurants in Kenilworth.
For £146 per night (including breakfast), even as a club member, I expected a much better experience and considering the lack of amenities I probably won?t be staying in another Holiday Inn again. For reference, only a couple months ago I stayed in a Hilton in the centre of Cambridge with breakfast, gym, pool etc for considerably less.

Overall a good hotel, dogs friendly. Room was clean and adequate. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard, nice in general. However, dropping a star because reception staff was not around for some time (guests were waiting unnecessarily) & there was a problem with coffee, not only machines didn't work in the restaurant but also in the lobby. An alternative solution was offered but it took some time. Apart of that, we had a lovely stay.

Very good service.
From check in, where everything was explained throughly, through to breakfast where the staff were friendly and helpful this was a greater stay. Furthermore, I left something important in my room and with no hesitation they went above and beyond to get it posted back to me.
Great stay, clean rooms and helpful staff. For the price you cannot do better.

It is a pet friendly hotel. So if you are ready for the smell then, this is a good option in Kenilworth. Well connected by bus to Coventry. Breakfast is good. Service can be slow, very less staff.

Tidy room, facilities all fine, staff very friendly and helpful. Only set back was my room was right next to the elevator, so I could hear that moving throughout my stay. Barring that, it was a good location within a close proximity to Warwick University and the town of Kenilworth itself seemed nice enough. Parking is narrow, so arrive early for a decent spot.
Food and drinks: I did use the bar for food. Despite the England match playing the staff managed to deliver meals on time and in a good state.
