“Rooms: Rooms are pretty good. Not modern but large and en-suite is really good. High ceilings and decorated in keeping with the age of the property.

Safety: Ok.

Walkability: Easy walk into town.

Food and drinks: Excellent!

Noteworthy details: Built in 1725. Florence Nightingale stayed there in her time as did Charles and Diana in 1985.
I found the hostess a little bit "guarded" and not particularly friendly. Richard was lovely and his cooking is second to none! Dinner and breakfast was first class.”
