“Very friendly staff and great price . Today I had a very good experience, I accidentally broke my egg box after payment and made a mess inside the shop . But the staff was very friendly she not only cleaned it but also allowed me to take a new box . Thank you very much Aldi.”

“Nice small and quiet supermarket that has everything you need, and is nowhere near as busy and chaotic as the likes of Tesco, Asda or even Aldi. High quality products and fair prices too. However, the tills can sometimes be understaffed and when I was checking out items I had to wait about 5 minutes to be served. Charge about 10p extra for a bag, too. Overall not bad. Would shop here again.”

“Good shop, the owners seem ok, only downside is that the ATM isn’t free to withdraw money. That’s why I give four stars instead of five. The nearest ATM that doesn’t charge is the co-op down the road.”

“My local Sainsbury's, and it's a great shop. Not as big as some nearby stores but it's fine for an average weekly shop. Used to have a great cafe too, but I wouldn't recommend it anymore. Long wait for food, not particularly hot either. Update 2022, last visit to the cafe was better, but still room for improvement. Update 2023, cafe much better lately”

“Very convenient shop for me, I'm always amazed what a range of stock they have in here, the shop is far bigger than it looks from outside. Also a cracking range of hot and cold food to go from the deli counter. Lottery available too.”

“I ordered Bangkok noodles with chicken after work for a quick tasty meal. I wasn’t disappointed, they stayed piping hot until I got home even after calling in a shop on the way back. About 15 minutes later they were still too hot so put them in a bowl to cool! A regular size filled my cereal bowl dish, more than enough for one! Glad I tried Bangkok noodles, really nice!”

“Still letting people in with no masks,But if some the staff are not wearing any what can you do, they should be asked to show evidence that that they can't or were a visor. Also we order a home delivery but we won't let us get a delivery from Johnstown they keep putting us in contact with Rhos Coop and they don't have a great choice unlike Johnstown Coop and also they charge delivery for it unlike Johnstown Coop.”

“It's a really big shop, it's got a coffee machine and a shelving unit that keeps pies, pasties and other pastries warm. I recommend this shop for almost everything you want and it's location is perfect for you if you're getting a bus anywhere local or further away.”

“Went to Asda money Travel desk for euros. Great service from Bethan who provided me with advice and assistance on how the new top up debit card works. Also helped me with how the app works. Nothing was too much trouble. After my holiday I had money left on my card so popped back in to store and Bethan helped me again to exchange it back to sterling. I highly recommend Bethan for any currency spends. Thank you.”
