“Me and my wife were tourists in the area and we visited this shop and were amazed at how friendly the people were there. From what I understand it’s a husband and wife team running it.. the husband is a very friendly gentleman and the wife is a fantastic cook! We didn’t know what to expect with the food as it was very cheap, but it was delicious! The price was just brilliant! Thank you guys for your generosity”

“Came here yesterday for the first time as we accidentally found the place. Went inside and was instantly impressed! Never seen anything like it in this country. Felt like I was in a supermarket abroad?Such amazing variety, really helpful staff who went above and beyond to help us, the most reasonable prices I’ve seen in a shop for a long time, and really enjoyable experience for once. I usually want to get in and out of shops quickly, but this shop i didn’t want to end! Will definitely be returning regularly!”

“This was the first ever Aldi supermarket in Oswestry and good to see that it's still going at this end of town as not many people all have cars or able to get to the big, newer Aldi on the outskirts of town..Clean, spacious, well stocked aisles and friendly, welcoming staff as well.This Aldi is ideal if you just want to pop in and out quickly with some shopping instead of having to go all the way to the other end of town to their bigger supermarket and wait in queues....”

“A small but well stocked shop. I was able to buy everything that I needed.The staff were extremely polite & helpful. One staff member, Karen was particularly friendly & went out of her way to help me. She is an absolute credit to the store!”

“Good range of products for a medium sized convenience shop. So really good special offers on different items but mainly on junk food if I'm honest but I'm not complaining. Prices are a little higher than supermarkets but that's to be expected. On my couple of visits. The staff have always been really helpful and friendly which is great and a highlight for the store.Will visit over and over I'm sure.Other things to know they have a 24hr cash machine outs side. A slush machine inside which is a nice touch.”

“Although it is a small store, it packs a wide variety of products including, fruit, veg, meat and plant based items. there is also a large selection of alcohol to choose from. The store is clean and well maintained. It is very good if you want to get some quality ingredients or just fancy a treat! I would recommend the iced spiced buns!”

“Lidl is a well known company and this is a good example of the shop. Bigger than many, and with the usual range of decent quality low cost groceries, most with a continental feel, and amazing goods down the middle isles that you didn't realise you needed. Definitely worth a visit.”

“Always well stocked for such a busy little business in a built up catchment area. It's also a rare occasion to queue at the checkout. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It's kept extremely tidy and I just can't fault it. Ample space for parking so very convenient.”

“Small, well stocked supermarket, primarily, as the name implies, for frozen foods. As a side note, Iceland was actually founded in Oswestry by the manager of the local Woolworths back in the early 1970s.”
