“Small, well stocked supermarket, primarily, as the name implies, for frozen foods. As a side note, Iceland was actually founded in Oswestry by the manager of the local Woolworths back in the early 1970s.”

“I think it says enough about me and the other reviewers that we took the time to type in this particular box. Anyone who gives a detailed critique of a budget supermarket in a local town, expecting others to take them seriously, had too much time on their hands. As do I...”
“What a lovely little place. We visited the local area for the weekend and as we did research before we left we knew we wanted to go take a visit here. They have a convinence store as well as a takeaway and fuel pump. We had food from the take away everyday that we were there from breakfast baps, breakfast trays to burgers and fish and chips. All made to order so lovely and hot and to save you waiting around you can sit outside and take in the view, weather permitting or they are kind enough to bring the food to your car. The Johnson family are very friendly, welcoming and just genuinely lovely people which in itself made us want to return. Thank you”

“Good selection for everyone. Plant kitchen is the best. The plant curries are very good. I love the pasta offers too. Yes you pay more, but some of us hate cooking. After a long day it's ideal.”

“Lidl is a well known company and this is a good example of the shop. Bigger than many, and with the usual range of decent quality low cost groceries, most with a continental feel, and amazing goods down the middle isles that you didn't realise you needed. Definitely worth a visit.”

“I was just approaching a checkout, and an announcement was made for another checkout to be opened. Shopping went through all fine, prices all correct, polite staff, not rushed along either. Very positive experience every time
Update: years later, the manned checkout is excellent, but they now offer self service checkouts”

“Very large store with lots of parking.
Usually kept clean and well stocked.
They have their own pizza oven for freshly made pizzas.
Had a rude member of staff but could have just being having a bad day.
Other than that it's standard for a Morrisons.”

“A small but well stocked shop. I was able to buy everything that I needed. The staff were extremely polite & helpful. One staff member, Karen was particularly friendly & went out of her way to help me. She is an absolute credit to the store!”
“Stan’s Superstore is hands down one of the best places to shop. From the moment you walk in, you can see how much effort has gone into making it a store that truly has something for everyone. The aisles are spacious and well-organized, which makes it easy to find what you need, and the shelves are always stocked with an impressive variety of products.
The food section is especially impressive. Fresh produce is crisp and colorful, with a wide selection of fruits and vegetables that look like they’ve just come from the farm. The bakery is another highlight—everything from fresh bread to sweet treats is available, and it all tastes homemade. The meat and dairy sections are just as reliable, offering both everyday essentials and specialty items that you won’t always find elsewhere.
What really sets Stan’s Superstore apart, though, is the range beyond food. Household items, cleaning supplies, personal care products, and even seasonal goods are all under one roof. It’s a one-stop shop where you can handle your grocery list and pick up those extra things you didn’t realize you needed.
The staff are friendly, helpful, and quick to assist, which makes the shopping experience even smoother. Stan’s Superstore isn’t just convenient—it’s consistently excellent.”
