Only last week did I send an email of thanks and praise to the Surgery Manager on behalf of my elderly mother and ourselves. They are doing a grand job and the service received from all the staff at the practice has been very good.Only today did I have a long and detailed follow up call from the physiotherapist after my initial visit two weeks ago and subsequent x-ray. What more could I ask?Thank you!

FANTASTIC PLACE!I was originally with a different practice who would not help me at all when I started feeling very unwell. I registered here instead and EVERY DOCTOR & NURSE that I have seen has been BRILLIANT! the care I have been given is spot on, even being sent fast tracked to Hospital (was NEEDED) and full back up since! They SAVED MY LIFE and are STILL there when I need them. Getting an appointment has NOT been a problem at all. I MUST add, a receptionist called DANIELLE has been way above ANY expectations a patient could hope for and is AN ABSOLUTE CREDIT to the practice. Danielle answered my very first call, when I was desperate for help and signed me up at this surgery.So happy I am registered here and they CARE FOR MY HEALTH, which in fairness, is what is the important thing!!** UPDATE **I have got SIX of my friends to sign up there too... they have recieved the same EXCELLENT SERVICE from the first time entering the surgery! 10/10 TPCC!!

I only call my GP if absolutely necessary, I have to take time off work to make the calls. 452 attemptsto get through today ? all face to face appointments gone. This process can't continue

Cannot thank you enough.My father suffered a cardiac arrest outside the surgery on 13/06/23 all the staff were instantly on site to save his life.He is now waiting for a triple heart bypass but without the you he would not be with us.Thank you ??

Absolutely shocking, can never get through on the phone, can never get an appointment!! It's always "you gotta ring 8am"....you try calling them 8am always engaged!! Walk up there then and still can't book an appointment. I'm still waiting for results for blood tests from last year!! Gotta ring in between 11am -12pm, yet again you can't get through. I have never had such bad service in all my life!! Shut down they want to be as the service is disgusting!!!

My daughter has problems with asthma & low iron/folic acid levels. Because of this she requires high strength tablets which can only be obtained on prescription, and she should also receive regular blood tests. She was booked for a blood test just after Christmas which was cancelled with no option of a replacement appointment. After 122 attempts at trying to get through over the phone on 24/1/23 she was unable to speak with anyone. She then attempted to complete an econsult form but was informed online that this was not possible and would have to be done from 9:30am the following day. My daughter works as a teacher & it isn?t always appropriate to leave class in order to do this. Surely the option to complete econsult forms should be available during all the working hours of a surgery & proritised appropriately by the staff. This will now cause a delay in appropriate treatment of my daughters health condition which was originally diagnosed in the local hospital under the care of the Respiratory team who have since handed her care back to the GP. I am an NHS healthcare professional myself & understand the pressures that we are all under, but surely this can be rectified with a better system being put in place to manage patients in the community.

All the doctors I have dealt with have been great, however I think the problem lies with the incompetent receptionists who like to play god. They are rude and you can just tell by their tone on the telephone that they really don?t care about anyone. I recently had to go for a blood test in the middle of June. I had a letter on 11/07/2022 asking to call the doctor to speak about my results. When I spoke with the doctor it turns out I needed to be on iron tablets and I had no idea this was the case. This prescription was left sitting at reception in the surgery from 28/06/22 to 12/07/2022 and no one bothered to contact me to tell me I needed them post blood tests. Since Dr Watkins retired from the Bedlinog surgery, the practise in Treharris has been nothing but a shambles. Dr Watkins was efficient, the receptionist were friendly and helpful and I have never had any issues like this before. I have put in an official complaint with the practise manager, but not holding my breathe about getting an outcome.

Since catching Covid (I am an NHS worker) before all the PPE came in and now coping with long Covid, I have to say Dr Johnson is caring and kind and sent me for tests, scans and blood tests and has always returned my calls.Dr Shroff has also been an amazing doctor. Both of these doctors listened to me and have done everything they can to help me cope with my condition.All other staff are always pleasant and try to help to the best of their ability.Thank you all for your hard work. xx
