“Have always liked getting my suits from Slaters due to the tailoring they offer. I went in Friday lunch time looking for a dinner suit. I found one I liked where the jacket fitted perfectly but the trousers were excessively big. The tailor came over and took her measurements, the waist and seat needing 3” removed, another 2” would need to be removed from the inside of each leg along with shortening the length of the leg, effectively reconstructing the trousers. She said she wasn’t to busy and would get straight on it and the suit would be ready to collect in a couple of days.I then had a call a couple of hours later to say she had completed the tailoring. I went in the next day to try on the suit and collect, it was a perfect fit. She was quite rightly very pleased with her work, as was I. I highly recommend Slaters of Swansea”

“Nice tidy store with spacious clean fitting rooms.It was very busy when I was there but nothing was to much trouble for the staff there. I couldn't find my size in a few tops I liked. I was approached by a member of staff who went to look to see if they had the sizes in their stockroom. Came back with a very similar alternative and they also said they could check availability on top I wanted and order it into store for me. I actually kept the alternative as it looked better and ordered another different one for collection. Great service, thank you”

“I'd already visited the store before to look at walking boots when we went back again and tried on about 6 pairs. Each time Chris was very helpful and made useful alternative suggestions when I rejected each pair I tried. He knew exactly which company made half sizes and whether a brand suited a narrow or broad foot. Chris was so supportive of my efforts to find a suitable option and didn't give up, if anything he got more enthusiastic as we went through one boot after another. He did this all the time while serving other customers with equal attentiveness. I bought a pair of Salomon boots, size 8.5 that are wearing in nicely now. “Really open store, with a brilliant choice of underwear, with plenty of sizes too. Very friendly and helpful staff, even have a little button in the changing rooms to use if you need another size etc. Would recommend the bras, as they fit wonderfully, even with the bigger sizes.”

“Really like this shop. Good quality clothing and prices are not that bad. Not such a large selection of accessories or footwear but plenty of choice in clothing. You can buy dresses for proms here and it has a nice selection of wedding items that can be worn for special occasions. Staff are friendly and returns are 14 days, not 28/31 like most places. Store in clean and centrally organised within the quadrant shopping centre.”

My wife is quite shy but she was fantastic with her.she said she was on her own as her boss was at lunch. She chatted with us and was such a fantastic employee. We left that shop on such a high. “Very long queues because they only have 2 tills open, but thats understandable due to social distancing. My main issue is their very strang sizing. I bought three items in a size large, 1 fit perfectly, 1 was too large and the other didnt do up. The item i took back, they said i should recieve the refund almost instantly, and 2 days later i still havent recieved it.”
