“A very clean, modern and well-organised pharmacy. The staff here are also very friendly and helpful. This is probably one of the best pharmacies in the area.As it's on the main road, parking here can be difficult but you can usually find a couple of spaces down one of the nearby side streets.”

“I have attended the pharmacy several times and the staff and pharmacist have been extremely helpful. During this time of covid, I'm isolating, my GP faxed a prescription to the chemist and I phoned to ask if it could be delivered the next day. It was delivered the same evening. I really wasn't expecting that. They go above and beyond for the health of their patients. I'd give them 10 stars if I could”

“We so enjoy the whole experience of coming to Meat from the friendly service to the great burgers and fries. There is usually a special creation on the menu which this time was a babganoush burger which I'm told was excellent although I stuck to the regular American with chilli fries which are just yum! We also had cocktails this time which were excellent so we will be back and happily recommend Meat to anyone who loves a good burger.”

“Please can you correct the times of opening as my son made a special journey to collect our prescriptions and as he went to go through the door was told they are closed and don't open untill 2pm it's showing different times on your advert we are self isolating and find it difficult to get our prescriptions collected he called just before 12.he wasn't able to see the note on the door until he got there ,I understand you must be run off your feet but maybe this will help other people who look up your times of opening on the internet many thanks to you all as I think you are all doing a brilliant job.?”

“This is the best Chemist in Newport by far, a lot of chemists I have been to, are either out of stock or not available for my sons repeat prescription, but every time I have been to this chemist they have always deliver a fast and accurate service with lots of friendly and helpful staff behind the counter. I have been to this chemist regularly over a period of 5 years and has continued since moving house as they are that reliable I am now willing to travel to them, which is only about a 10 min drive for me where I’m based.”

“Small badly stocked shop, apparently they can't put much out because of shoplifting, staff were very helpful and ordered what I needed. I'm a bit shocked that there is nobody to cover the pharmacist while she is on lunch. Seems a bit daft.”

“I have found Clarkes Chemist a dream. You are not a number like boots you are treated as though you are part of their working family. You are asked how you are feeling and whether or not you have enough of any tablets that are not repeated also they tell you you have too many other tablets you have repeated. On their computer they have put in how many tablets you take, how many tablets you have at home. It's great really because if you pay for tablets you have a load of already then you have to pay again for the tablets you need.All Chemist's should take a look at Clarke's computer software and copy it. Thanks Clarkes for making my life easier. (Well my carers life lol)”

I was a bit concerned because there are so many horror stories about pharmacies at the moment but I couldn't fault the service at Day Lewis. “Always used perns in Risca over 25yrs since been taken over hasn’t been same . When to newbridge the customer service was excellent just like Risca one use to be . “This is thr first time I am ever having someone at boots take their time and even their break to help a customer..Met this lovely lady at the boots at newport(Isle of Wight) and even though we had issues with sending the prescription down to their pharmacy section from our Brsitol surgery, she made sure we went through every way and route to get it and even suggested we go through 111.She even asked for our number to call us when the prescription comes in.I was so shocked and happy at her service and dedication to her job and to helping..She deserves an award.. .I call her the lady with the arm tattoo and dark hair(can't write her name down)”
