“Stayed for one night in this lovely hotel with two friends in a triple room. Room was spacious and well equipped with en suite bathroom, very decent room! The staff are extremely lovely and knowledgeable of the area, and while there wasn’t dinner available while we were there the breakfast was wonderful (buffet selection of cereal/coffee/tea etc with a cooked option of choice as well). All in all a lovely hotel would very much recommend for a relaxing holiday in Pembrokeshire!”

Would recommend the location if you are planning for Brecon Beacons and/or Gower National Park as it’s 1 hour drive from there and lots of restaurants option back in Newport, Cardiff or Swansea.”

“Thank you to the team at Norwood house! 21 of us visited for my mum’s 65th birthday today and the food, service and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. We had a truly fabulous time and everyone was impressed with the quality of the food. Nothing was too much trouble including our special requests and dietary needs. Thank you all My husband and I have Sunday lunch regularly at Norwood house and highly recommend the amazing home cooked food and great service. The team are so friendly and cannot do enough to make it a fabulous experience every time. It was wonderful to be able to share it with our family for our celebration. I’m sure many of them will be returning soon!!”

“We knew that there was a new management team and that they had big shoes to fill - we were blown away! Great atmosphere, amazing food and brilliant service. A big shout out to our server (a 16 year old young lady whose customer service skills are already fantastic) - good luck with your GCSE results! My steak was tender, generous and delicious. My husband had a burger which was chargrilled, meaty and dripping with cheese. Thank you for a wonderful meal, we will be back!”

“Great 1st time around the forest drive! The one thing that really annoyed me was the bikers and walkers walking in the opposite directions to car which sometimes made it difficult to pass as they would not stand aside so I would avoide at the height of the season!”

“Good location for our visit to the ICC, friendly staff and a good welcome. Rooms were a little tired but comfortable.As it was late and didn't know the area we used the restaurant nearby, which was busy and a little on the expensive side.Breakfast was self serve with plenty of choice. Ample parking.”

Rooms are nice and clean.
No A/C which is not good if you are visiting during the summer”

“Was very apprehensive due to bad experiences I've had with other travelodges but this was a delight. Exceptionally friendly staff, very clean, smelt beautiful and lovely and quiet so slept well both nights I was there. Location is also ideal for access to the town centre and public transport links. Would stay again.”

“My first choice in Newport when working away very centralised and parking isn't to much hassle. Moh the manager is always available and keen to assist can't fault it.”

“This is a budget hotel,but has a brilliant location,with rooms that are clean and tidy with a comfortable bed.Tea making facilities,with a great surplus of makings,all you have to do is ask.If you require a ironing board and iron just ask.
The staff are so helpful it's unbelievable,the only member of staff with purple hair,the only one, was so helpful and cheerful in her job, a credit to Travelodge.
This is also located in a central location for anything in Newport.”
