I spent two weeks here with my wife and two children (ages 13 and 10) The absolute best thing about the site is the setting, with a wonderful sweeping view of the bay and the pretty harbour of New Quay on one side. Quay West Holiday Park on Ceredigion Bay, South Wales is a brilliant coastal retreat to enjoy with the family. There are indoor and outdoor pools to enjoy a swim in, an array of activities like the Aerial Adventure ropes course set in the trees, as well as enticing entertainment at the dedicated venue and a family amusements arcade – both of which will be revamped for spring 2023 (subject to final plans). Dogs are welcome along for the experience, and they’ll love the walking routes close to your accommodation, with beach access and views of the coast a particular delight. Dolphins are often spotted in the region, and you can even take a boat trip to spot some. Aberaeron is just six miles away and full of great pubs and restaurants.
