Understandably quiet for a Saturday evening, early january... not sure how this justifies an army of waiters all loitering? My husband and I went to the newly refurbished Golden Lion as we wanted to support local business. It’s a beautiful pub with a lot of character. When we arrived we saw that the pub had been painted a light cream colour inside, it looked fresh and lovely. There needs to be a sign to say “please wait here to be seated”... read full comment

More than average but only just, steak was nice and to be honest cooked to perfection but im not sure about the choice of supplier, good food starts with good shopping and I'm afraid this is it case here.
