No one there to book us in on arrival, phoned and was told to wait an hour then 3 & half hours later had to find somewhere else to pitch up as they still weren’t back!! Requested a refund of deposit twice and they haven’t returned it to me. A really bad experience!!

Pretty poor site, very run down, appalling facilities, no one on site to deal with issues, no running water on pitches, very unkempt. Tried contacting owners, no reply yet. Left a day early and will never return.Noteworthy details: The only highlight was a walk to the Barmouth estuary.

Ynys Faig camping site is really part of the Transport Museum of Anglesey. The site is behind it, in a well kept grassy area with a gravel driveway to your chosen gravel position. This was not ideal, as it was only the width of the motorhome, and as it rains a lot in Wales, expect to step out into water logged grass....
