Sainsbury’s Local on Newport Road is convenient for quick shopping trips, but the prices are noticeably high compared to other supermarkets. While the store is clean and well-stocked, the overall cost can make it less appealing for regular visits. It’s fine for convenience, but not the best value for money.

Let me start with the staff are amazing at this shop but unfortunately there’s an issue with drainage in the shop and the smell of raw sewage is unbearable to the point that the staff shouldn’t be subjected to them conditions neither mind the customers. I have had some good customer service in my life but nothing as good as that of katie at Sainsburys local in rumney (Josh is alright as well)
