From the time I applied online to the time I went to the branch to open an account, the bank had no questions about my information. The branch employee looked at my ID carefully and told me that the account had been opened successfully, all the steps had been completed, and I just needed to wait for the card to arrive. On the day I received the card, Adam Hall, the manager of the bank, sent me an email from his personal email address, telling me that the address they entered was incorrect and they closed my account. I need to ask the school to send a bank letter to my address to prove my address. I have asked the school several times, and the school only provides a single standard bank letter, which cannot be sent to the apartment. I asked the manager what the difference was between this and the printed one. He said it might be different, which may be based on his speculation. When I came to open an account, I showed my address to the teller, the teller showed it to the manager, and he also entered it into the system, and there was no problem, but suddenly there was a problem after I received the card.

Absolutely amazing service. I came in with a very dire financial situation and needed access to money i had locked up, and not only was my issue resolved, it was done so with genuine concern and care. I need to specifically say thank you to Chloe and Kristian for this. They were both absolutely incredible. As well as Nina from the support Centre who helped set everything up by listening to my issues and contacting the Cardiff branch.

I've never been so satisfied as I was with the customer service I was just given by a lovely lady named Alex from our Cardiff branch. Amazing people skills! Very friendly and helpful made me feel very comfortable. As I was stressed due to my finance company trying something on in order to charge extra payments, it was swiftly dealt with by Alex. My only regret is not asking her surname so that I could write a glowing email to nationwide letting them know how impressed I am. Nationwide as a whole are world's above my previous bank in terms of customer service and reliability. (lloyds) now I'm struggling to figure out what took me so long to switch! Amazing!

The staff are always super friendly and helpful in this branch, will make you a cup of tea if you're there with a more lengthy query, and go above and beyond. One of the ladies even called me after I went in to ask advice on a scam text with further information about contacting my phone network, which had nothing to do with banking. Brilliant customer service from all.

Like most banking institutions, they continue to close local branches which makes it difficult for a lot of customers to get to. I'm a pensioner but to get to my branch, i have to get a bus then a train to get there just to put a cheque in or draw out larger sums of money.So please consider re-opening some of your smaller local businesses in suburban areas around Cardiff.Thanks
