“I was given an appointment last minute which was great. Jaysha and the team were absolutely brilliant and very thorough with my examinations. I had quadrantinopia which lead to referral. I was given a letter which allowed me to be seen by docs and hospital swiftly. So grateful that this was picked up by the opticians as it lead to a diagnosis of a brain cyst which is now being treated.I can’t thank the team enough.”

“This is one of the most friendly and helpful opticians I have ever been to!Andy, the optician, is very thorough, professional and kind. He put me at ease immediately because I have Long Covid, which can affect the eyesight, and I was very anxious.The last time I went he suspected a small problem with my right eye so gave my eyes a thorough scan and decided to refer me to a consultant.As it turned out, I needed a little operation, which I've now had, and feel very grateful that Andy spotted this!They have a great choice of frames, ranging from cheap to designer, and are so caring when helping you to choose, although they are not at all pushy.Particular thanks to the ladies on reception as they are always cheerful and welcoming and were the same during the pandemic, which must have been difficult.Parking is often tight in the limited amount of bays directly outside but there are usually spaces on the surrounding roads.Everything is clean and in good order and I would recommend this place without hesitation. Thanks to all.”

The optician was very thorough in her questioning and took her time to make her feel at ease (she usually gets very nervous at the prospect of any sort of medical exam). “Edit : It seriously depends on who you get when you get there. Some employees are really good at their job and really take the time to listen to you and do the best they can, while others are just terrible. From 1 star to 4 stars as I had a young man and young woman treat me completely with utter respect and professionalism compared to the previous two women I had to deal with before. My rimless glasses were fixed, and I was told by the man himself that the defect was not normal. I've kept my 1 star review underneath still:The eye test was perfect, and the whole experience was very good UNTIL I got my new rimless glasses.The right arm that is attached to the frame was very well done while the left arm was OBVIOUSLY wobbly. I had to come back and forth at least three times on the same day to get them to accept the fact that it’s NOT normal for a new pair of rimless glasses to have one wobbly arm.They were seriously trying to convince me that it was normal ???…one of the ladies there tried to show me that it’s normal using another rimless frame they had in store, and guess what ? Both arms DO NOT wobble. Going back tomorrow to get them fixed as advised by the ladies there, if they can’t fix it they better not try to convince me that it’s normal, If I think the wobbly arm is not normal then just fix it without arguing or taking me for a dummy.If the glasses were defective, it’s fine it happens. Just admit it and move on.I do love the frame & my vision clarity got better, but seriously…I wouldn’t want to go back.”
