“Clean and tidy, with a good range of products, including newspapers, magazines, cards, as well as food tins/pasta/cakes/sweets, and alcohol, and has a post office there too. Also long opening hours and open from 6am - 9pm mon to say, and 7am - 9pm on Sunday.”

The service and support I received from the moment I walked in was amazing, I was so impressed by how friendly, knowledgeable and efficient the member of staff, Rhys, was. “I had my online banking access suspended and it was a painful process. I made phone calls after phone calls and I had to make several of them in the branch. I would give 0 stars to the process but the staff in the branch were very nice and helpful. I had to call Lloyds using their landline and I was allowed to stay half an hour after they were supposed to close. One of them was following my case all the way and had been a great help. I was so in the process and I forgot to ask her name. I didn't even get to say goodbye to her because I had to leave in a rush to stop extending their work time. I hated the process but I'm very grateful for the assistant and understanding from the staff. While I was waiting on the line after their closing time, I can see they are still helping clients to make sure everyone leaves happily.”

I came in with a very dire financial situation and needed access to money i had locked up, and not only was my issue resolved, it was done so with genuine concern and care. “Great service from this Lloyds branch. I had an issue with sending money abroad and it was an emergency luckily I was accommodated with great service from both Sophie and another gentleman. They managed to provide the service I was looking whilst keeping a busy bank under control.”

“Great face to face service, after talking for an hour with the phone support, they locked my account and only way to unlock it was the personal visit to the closest HSBC bank building and to show them that me is really me - show them my photo ID - I am think that they are even little bit too careful with the access control, even the big American based banks do not require that level of the security. Perhaps it would be great for the people who are bit paranoid about the security issues - me and others who not having this problem could find it quite annoying, but the stuff in the branches is very professional and nice. It's took us no more than 7 minutes to restore the access to my internet banking.Perhaps they having not seen me for years so they decided to not accept my answers to all the security questions even if they all have been right - I mean that even if you have no any wrong answers you might no pass the security over the phone (anyway, considering how far mobile technology has been already developed - providing of voice connection which is just laughably low quality - seems like the most of the mobile service providers are very greedy!)”

“The people who work in asda are always friendly and helpful on the shop floor, I do love the cafe staff more as i am a regular customer and always enjoy the panini and chips the staff member Angela is so lovely, friendly and a bubbly person she always makes me laugh. Its nice having staff that are as friendly and bubbly as angela is thats another reason why i like coming to this asda store.”

“This is my bank! But not in the same way that Terry's Chocolate Orange's belong to Dawn French! I share it with everyone else! Which is essentially what the Co-op is about! Way, way back in my dim and distant past I had my Uni placement with these guys in Manchester, which funnily enough, is where their Head Office is! I learned all about their membership scheme and the leading edge developments that they were responsible for where environmental and Fair Trade issues were concerned. These things are not surprising seeing as the basic premise for this business was to provide affordable products and services for the less well off in society, and to allow them to share in the profits! The Co-op are amazing. I have banked with them for years! Their bank rates are more more equitable than other banks, and they are lenient when we fall foul of our commitment to them, (making a late payment, or accidentally going overdrawn etc... A quick phone call to explain is usually enough to remedy an error!). Five stars is just not enough for these guys... so here's a few more...”
