Staff jumped on us as we walked in with some speil about sizes.... basically looked us up and down with bizarre mutterings about how 'we should be alright' we are average height and build. Overall a bit meh. Used to like them as a brand. Online a better experience.

I don?t leave too many reviews, but I have to say, this is probably the friendliest shop in all of North Wales. The team welcomed us with open arms and were super friendly with our dog, giving her some free treats and water, when cups of tea appeared we thought ?this is great!?, but sadly we?d missed the brew round. Couldn?t recommend this shop enough, even if it?s just to pop in and have a little chin wag.

I have to say the service at this Alk jit store is just outstanding. The team have repaired kit for me often done as you wait. They are always happy to talk through equipment. It's such a pleasure to shop in store and have you kit repaired. Thanks Alpkit Bewts y coed.

I don?t often provide reviews on anything, but I?ll make an exception here very gladly. Alpkit as an outdoors firm operate on some different level to anyone else in my mind; incredibly good customer service and great products. The Betws store, like hathersage, has first class people who really care and go out of the way to advise. Best in class by a mile.

Staff always welcoming, shop always well kept. I love the brand I am addicted to it! I have use the Gourdon bag for years (in all 3 sizes). If that bag could be made in more colours or even patterns? That my only comment. I been after the khaki for years.

Repair shop upstairs fixed my zipper on my coat! The lady was lovely and very knowledgeable and helpful, fixed it in 5 minutes despite having to remove the damaged slider, and because she didn't have to replace the whole zip, it was only £20. Hi that?s all I?d like to say the customer service and staff are very thoughtful and knowledgeable, by talking to them you very soon realise they have a wealth of knowledge of the outdoors and are eager to share it with you .I spoke to Steve in particular who is a member and founder of Dart which is an NGO and carries out very important work in humanitarian disaster areas world wide .I am a humanitarian volunteer for Re-act a humanitarian crisis relief charity operating worldwide .In the case of a humanitarian crisis we aim to administer humanitarian aid to the the most vulnerable people in the hardest to reach.places in the quickest possible time .I need good quality kit and gear that is why I go to Alpkit thankyou Steve and your great staff at Beth?s y coed

Went in to see if I could get a puncture repair on my mountain bike mid long ride up in the hills - with not much hope But amazing bike mechanic got me sorted. I couldn?t have been more grateful and the staff couldn?t have been more helpful.

Top quality mountain kit available at fairly reasonable prices, definite value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful and left you to your own devices when it was apparent that we didn't need assistance.Very pleased with my purchase.

I my 5 star review. Goes out to the kind sales representative. I entered the shop Saturday. With my dog luna. The kind lady give my dog a few doggy treats. I asked about the 15% discount. I was told everything in store was discounted. The manager of the store came across. Told the girl to get on with something else. In a very rude manner. This cost alpkit a sale. As I was after some base layer items.I thank the sale representative and wish her a great future with the store as for the manager I'll stop there ?

Went in to chat about a bike on sale in the Inverness store as I had commented online & been offered help from both the BYC & Hathersage managers.Came out with a very shiny bike from this branch as on sale, etc.Very patient customer service, lots of adjustment for test riding & a really good atmosphere. There looked to be some cracking mugs of tea being brewed too. Lots of nice bikes, great staff & very good customer service. Thanks guys. ?Particularly good as it was bank holiday weekend & BYC was rammed.PS got it in the car, carefully! ??
