“Quite a big home bargains, looks like they have recently renovated and moved around products and shelving. Clean and appreciate the air conditioning, especially given I visited twice during the heatwave. Friendly staff and many products to choose from.”

“My wife passed away from elongitis recently after a terrible year long battle with it, and it hasn't been easy without her.

Quite frankly, I'm struggling to cope. The person I planned to spend my entire life with has disappeared, and it feels to me as if the world just keeps spinning.

And maybe, in some melancholic way, I'm meant to find that comforting. That it's not the end of the world for me, that life will keep moving on and I will heal with time.

But at the moment? It feels so far from the truth. My life, as I knew it, is gone, and there is nothing I can do. I feel as if I'm just stuck in some sort of depressive limbo, or like a ghost haunting the world with no one noticing.

But I have to keep moving on. My will power hasn't gotten low enough yet to quit all of this yet. But I feel myself slowly tipping to the edge every day that passes, and I don't know if I can carry on much longer.

Now, this Morrisons wasn't my pick for the weekly shop.

It was hers.

And the routine has just stuck.

So every week, I go through the automatic doors, trolley in hand, and I do the shopping.

She, for whatever reason, really liked this Morrisons, and I didn't know why. Everytime we both went shopping together, she would insist on going to this specific Morrisons, and to be frank, I thought it was weird habit of hers. But now, now she's gone, I can't help but appreciate these weird habits.

The routine is usually the same. Every week I get the same junk food, the same brand of kitchen paper, same detergent, the same route, all the same.

But there was this one Wednesday, where something was different.

I decided to go down to the tinned foods isle, like normal, grabbing the same tin of tuna I get every week.

But I decided to change up routine. I had a look at all the baked beans.

Now, none of these really peaked my interest, but I felt some sort of deja vu come over me when I picked up the one can.

And I realised.

I remembered.

This is where we first met.

Not in one of those love at first sight ways, in fact we didn't speak at all. But I saw her, walk past me in the corner of my eye.

And I come to the realisation that this, this is why she loves this Morrisons so much. It's because it reminded her of us.

And as I had this epiphany, I felt my self tear up, because this isn't what she would've wanted. She would've wanted me to hold on to the good times, cherish them, and use them to move forward.

And I think that was the the thing that stopped me tipping over the edge.

I'm not entirely better now, in fact I'm still struggling without her, but from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Morrisons. Well and truly, for helping me to keep on living.”

“Iceland does not bother with fripperies in their shop. Well stocked fridges. Lots of variety. They obviously try their best with prices but their electric bill must be the same as a small village. Love the place.”

“I go to this Tesco everyday so i decided to write this poem,
On Port Road’s busy stretch, so wide,
Tesco stands, a steady guide.
A beacon for all who need to find
A place of comfort, peace of mind.

The shelves are lined with every treat,
From fresh produce to things we eat.
Crisp apples shine, bread warm and soft,
A world of wonders from floor to loft.

The aisles hum with footsteps light,
A quiet buzz from morning to night.
Friendly faces behind the till,
Fulfilling each need, with grace and skill.

In the heart of Barry, it's more than a shop,
A place where neighbors chat and stop.
Where shopping’s a ritual, familiar and true,
Tesco on Port Road, we turn to you.”

“I recently visited the Tesco Express near my home and was impressed by the convenient location and wide selection of products. The store was clean and well-stocked, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I was able to find everything I needed for my weekly shopping, including fresh produce, meats, and dairy products. The prices were also competitive. Overall, a great shopping experience and I will definitely be returning.”
