Hopefully we just went on an off night. Never been before or previously seen the reviews. Our fish and chips were both absolutely dripping in grease to the point a pool had solidified around the fish tray once cooled. Distinctly average and wouldn't return unfortunately. Staff were friendly and kind. Owner allowed us to sit in the shop with our dog while we eat as it was freezing outside. Definitely the best fish and chips I’ve ever
