“Just called in today, to familiarize myself with what will be my Local branch, as my existing accounts are transferring there to Nationwide, this Monday, and wanted advise on setting up accounts and investments. All of the staff there attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful. Also the new account has been set up online and post, without a single hitch, I didn't know service like this existed anymore, It appears to be, here, at The Nationwide, Banking now, im a Happy Bunny, or will be on Monday.”

“Of all the local banks, this seems to be the one where it is easiest to talk to an actual human being. I have accounts with other banks too, and they are usually fine - except when there is a problem and you end up 'chatting' to some robot online which can't deal with complex requests. So, horses for courses. I tried and failed to arrange an ISA transfer via 'robot', so am doing it via the Halifax. Thanks to the staff.”
